She should have kept that fact to herself, because truth be told friends can come and go just as quickly. But she should have just let that information stay in her head. It was mean to say it to you. You should find a girl who has more respect for people's feelings.

Its natural for a man to pursue pain. Break the relationship and find a girlfriend who willingly share the same principle of yours in friendships. Friends are great absolutely, but if you find a good girlfriend and eventually becomes your wife, in your deathbed, she will be there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And your friends are just there for maybe 3 mins, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. Look at relationships in long time perspective, not just friends who share a table of beer and foods with you. After parties your wife is there in bed with you all the night and your friends are with somebody.

Well. Just couple years ago I thought exactly like you. But now I can tell you one thing: nothing lasts in this world, nothing! But everything evolves. Any friendship is relationship as well. And the best way if you find in your boyfriend a best soul mate for yourself as well. Then this relationship will last longer.

Does she want you to put her above your relationship with you boyfriend? Maybe she's jealous or insecure.
You don't have to give up your friends but at the same time you can't deny yourself a chance at love and a full and committed relationship with a partner who will ultimately be your BEST friend

Science Fiction writer Katherine MacLean told me once: "Don't make policy statements." I thought about it and it made sense. Keep your options wide open. If someone told me what you are asking about, that I would sense trust issues with men. A girlfriend who says what you have quoted is not all that comfortable around men, period. I would also imagine she is living in the past when it comes to about 70% of her emotions.

As a bloke? Say you were quite right. Me and a mate were good drinking and poker buddies and I got a girlfriend and so had to stay in more so I could afford to take her out every week. So we cut back on the poker and drinking I took my girlfriend out once a week decided it wasn't getting anywhere fast and so we parted and my drinking pal was a bit reluctant to want to know. I should have made my girlfriend fit in around our poker/drinking sessions. But hey thats life!

I totally agree with her. think about it and you'll find that it's true. BF or GF come and go. you can't be sure that you'll stay with a girl for 100%. and when you break of with your girl, who supports you? that's your friends. that's all that counts at the end unless you are sure that it's gonna be your girl for ever and she won't ever let you down. no one can be sure. so don't mess with her friends :p
Think about it my friend.

It is very true. Women fight over some dumb things. Men being one of them. Why ruin a friendship over some guy who is probably just using "both of you". Yeah, done it before and I am glad that I did not let him ruin my friendship with my gf! She is the bomb!
