i know i shouldn't be desperate and Act like i'm pleading to find a boyfriend and i should just Wait for the Right One to Come Along. but i have not had such luck lately. or ever. i don't know if i'm gorgeous or anything like guys have told me.. because i've lost a lot of trust and my confidence lately from guys. (but one of my last guys "dumped" me so to speak, because i was "too hot and smart" for him.. which i never made myself to be!) i've never Had an official Boyfriend though.. i know i'd be a really caring and great gf if they would ever give me the chance. i'm 17. like 5' 7" have dirty blonde medium length hair... average weight, i guess.. not overweight at all. i'm shy at first until you get to know me. i can talk to any guy until i really start to like them then my mind goes blank. but once i get comfortable and you get to know me i open up and can by my fun talking self. i'm extremely caring and thoughtful and always thinking of others first... (but it's bit me in the butt)

I'm 20 years old.. If i can remember i never was as shy as a kid as i am now. every time i'm around someone new i just feel nervous and wont hardly speak unless i'm spoken to. i just stand there with my hands in my pockets. I try not to be so shy but it just happens somehow and i cant really seem to shake it. I really hate this. this has aslo cost me a few relationships, actually all of them.. I really hate being like this. The girl always ends up just only wanting to be friends after a few weeks of dating. I feel its ruining my future with a girl. If anyone knows how i can overcome this i would greatly appreciate any info. If you need info let me know.

I have this friend, who I abesolutely like since I've met him. We beginning to get really close as friends, and he been telling people he likes someone. Sometimes I think it is me, because he sometimes acts different when he is around me, and I am too afriad to ask. When I told him I liked him, he didn't say anything at all. I am very confuse. Should I keep my hopes up, or should I just forget about it?
He is the kind of friend who is always there for you, and listens to you when you need someone to talk too, that is what I love about him. But I don't know, I also don't want to date him, because in his previous relationship with ends up breaking up and losing that person as a friend. I don't want that to happen. What should I do?

Im a 14 year old male in 8th grade. Im scared to go to school because of these bullies. I go to school some days are good but then other days someone wants to fight me. Im not a fighter even if i get hit I don't fight back. I don't wanna go to school because I get talked about and/or get bullied. It's hard because people say "don't listen to what others have to say". But it's hard not to listen. I get bullied constantly and it's embarrassing. I just wanna go to school learn have a little bit of fun. But I don't feel save in school. If it's not this person it's the other. I don't know if it's because of my height or what but I don't say or do nothing to these people for them to treat me this way. Help me please!!

I'm sorry for talkaing about this so much but it has been a main concern and i want as many answers as possible I teach religion get great marks do sports play the flute and take dance classes My mom told me i should do all of this and even though I'm often stressed and overwhelmed I suck it up But she still yells at me at not being good enough or I could do more/better My room isn't always perfect but I'm lucky to get 7 hours of sleep I do my own laundry make my own meals and stay out of her way She still complains and always has to fight I ALSO CARE FOR HER PETS becuase I know she wont care for them and i love them a lot. My dad is a much better parent. He'll help me when I need a hand or maybe wash a school shirt for me once in a while or help me with a problem in math that I don't understand He's much nicer and easier to tlakl to. I'd rather listen to him even if he had the same rules just becuase he doesnt scold me for not doing better when I try my best what do you guys think???

Ok, this guy I went out w/ for about a month is acting like a big jerk! We had a dance at school Friday and he was like crying b/c he was saying that one of my friends was breaking the "man law" that u can't dance w/ a friend's ex! I don't even believe in the stupid man law. And he said that the reason he was crying was because he had a migrane. Well tonight he told me he still kinda liked me. And I'm stuck in all this and don't know how to get out of this. I'm tired of him because I broke up w/ him for fairly good reasons. He was crying when I broke up w/ him and asked someone out the SAME exact day. So can anyone help me out or tell what I should? I really need some help right now.

I had a fight with my girlfriend and we broke up. A week later I sent her an email apologizing for insulting her and asking her if we could still be friends. I told her I would not bother her after this email if she says no, but I just want to know.

I'm 17 years old and this past year has been one of the worst in my entire life ... it started a few days after my birthday, he beat me mercilessly because he was stressed from my mom and work so I called social service and he realized the errors of his ways so I forgave him & he told me he'd start treating me like an adult, not some stress relief doll .. the family moved to saudi arabia where my dad was intent to "start a new life" because he thinks it's a spiritual place for our arab background ... i'm pretty miserable here and have no friends, stay at home all day, cause that's the culture life of this place ... so I most likely will be able to get into UVA this may & want to attend, since I already have a lot of college credits so I have a huge head start and our instate tuition would be just as cheap as a school overseas ... but he lashed out on me the other day cause of something my brother did ... and my mom doesn't try to calm him down or offer any support, so once again, I'm
