That's called harrassment. If you have caller ID, keep track of the number and the times. If you don't, keep track of the times that this happens. You can go to the police with it, they can help you.

oh my god. i had that experience with 2 different guys. the first one i think he became a psycho who wouldn't let go off me. the 2nd one, i think he was just not ready and regret on breaking up with me. either way or one, they may become your nightmares. stop answering the phone calls, get a new number or change your answering machine voice message pretending you have moved!

he is hurt depending on the reason you broke up. he is looking for closure in a different kinda way but it will pass. He might also be looking for a reason why it happened and is afraid to actually talk to you.

if they did not care..would they bother?
so just change your number or move out of town
its simple..just forget about him/her and drop them
like a bad habit..call the cops if they stalk you.
