I work away from the home 3 nights a week, and 1 other day during the week where I am home by 5. I make dinner at least 2 nights a week, we go out to eat at least 1 night a week and the other we usually eat leftovers. I also have 3 children 10 months, 4 years and 11 years. Good luck with your project!

I had a unique situation. before we retired. I worked full time. 50 - 60 hours per week. My husband worked shift work.

When he was on day shift I cooked every night, except Sunday night, that was family night., The kids got to pick the place and we went out.

When he was on 3-11 shift.. I would get home at 6 - 6:30 and he would have something in the fridge ready for me to make, so 3/4 was done for me.

Whe he worked Graveyard He woke up at 4pm and had dinner ready for us when I got home.

Team effort.

When my children were little, I cooked almost every meal they ate except for an occasional fast food dinner once in awhile, whether I was working or stayed home with them.
Now that they are grown, I work nights & cook about 3 times a week for my husband. I also usually pack his lunch for work.

I cook for my family every night. I work full time outside the home. I don't know if it helps or not, but I have three kids, 3, 5, and 9.

I am a stay at home mom, two teenage boys and a husband. Yes, I cook everyday. On week-ends, it's three meals. Once or twice a month, I don't feel like cooking and we'll order take out. Gives me a break. I cook ahead meals also for those days I have other things to do.

I stay at home, though I take on the occaisional programming job which I do at home.

I make every dinner, every day. If I don't make dinner then we eat something in a can or cereal.

I pack a lunch for my husband 5-7 days a week and cook lunch for myself and my son each day.

Much as I enjoy cooking, I am sick of it.

I cook dinner every evening around 5:00pm. BUT sometimes I do not cook on a Friday and/or Saturday, it is family night out and we go somewhere special to eat. One week is the kids choice, next week daddy's choice.

I am a stay at home mom. (homemaker)
