He broke up with me among other reasons because of the distance; I'm in New York; he's in Tokyo. We started dating in Tokyo, then I had to move to NY last Sep and we dated long dist. The break up was not mutual, but it was open ended, in that he did not completely rule out the possibility of getting back together once I moved back to Tokyo. I'm moving back to Tokyo to start work there in April; he doesn't know that yet. He wanted to be friends and as friends, he would email me at the same rate, he said, and I can call him on the phone, we can meet in Tokyo "as friends". But since the break up a few weeks ago he is responding quicker to my emails, initiating conversations, and he writes me: "[my name], hello. [my name], fundamentally there is no problem. [my name], by the way now are you coming to Japan in April?" I am wondering why he wants to know whether I'm coming back to Japan and why is he talking to me more than when we were dating? When I asked him, he said there is no one new.

I like guys--doesn't matter the ethnicity, as long as we are compatible in personality and such. The thing is I am (half) black (I look Mexican) and all of my guy friends of all ethnicities overlook me. I haven't had a crush on ALL of them, but the few that I have had a crush on were a let down because they ignored my obvious crushes on them. Why? [no lie] My black guy friends all prefer white girlfrends, my white guyfriends all prefer white girlfriends, and my Indian guys friends I can pretty much forget about, and as for the Latino guys that I know--their families don't take kindly to my kind. Its cool because I believe that you can't help who you fall in love with. However, I'm just wondering when a little love will swing my way. Am I doomed to a lonely life because the world sees black skin as a terminal disease that will cause impure children? Or do I have to "settle" for anything that comes my way? I feel like a reject.

my son asked me the other day if daddy was good could he come home, when we finished he told my son i wanted him out and he didn't know why, for years he tried to control me didn't want me to get job wanted me at home couldn't have friends and that, now i don't know how to explain to my son about it, he is only six and i said i would never try turn my son against his dad but what can i say to him how can i put it in to kind words for him to understand, when he was going i told my son that me and daddy don't get on anymore so he was moving out but not to worry about anything as he would still see him and that he would live here with me, he seemed happy with that, now i am lost don't know what to say anymore

THE SHEHNAI is an aero phonic instrument which is thought
to bring good luck, and as a result, is widely used in North
India for marriages and processions.
This tube-like instrument gradually widens towards the lower
end. It usually has between six and nine holes. It employs two
sets of double reeds, making it a quadruple reed woodwind. By
controlling the breath various tunes can be played on it.
ORIGIN OF THE SHEHNAI
The shehnai was created by improving upon the pungi. There
are two common legends of its origin. In the first, a Shah
banned the playing of the pungi in his court due to its shrill
sound. A barber, belonging to a family of musicians, improved
on it and created the shehnai. As it was played in the Shah's
court and giving due reference to the 'nai' or barber, it was
called shehnai.
In the other story, it was named after a player of the
shehnai, called Saina.

She is my colleague. Since a few months ago, she kept mailing me, showing some signal of her kindness, ... At last, she invited me to go to a movie. we had lunch and then watch movie and then just backed home. I expected dinner together since she was telling me to go dinner one day since a long time ago. What do you think it means when you ask a guy to meet up and he says he is really stressed? FYI he's not the type to mince words and be subtle, so if he meant 'N'' he woudl say so. is it that he thinks I want sex and if we meet up while he's stressed he won't be able to perform? My current of six months has told me a few times her ex has called and she's spoke with him. I know they broke up 6 months before I even met her and I know he lied, cheated and broke her heart.
Our relationship is at the stage where I am considering long term commitment, even marriage and kids but I do not feel comfortable with her communicating with this guy - they have no kids or other ties to have reason to even talk. I know he wants her back and so I am wondering if she has really had closure with this man.
I know she couldn't even tell her family about this man because they would never had approved...she's already introducing me to her family and I feel so much love from her so I am wondering why I feel uncomfortable with her talking with him...I just feel that if I were her I'd have nothing to say unless they was no real closure.

There's this guy I like and he smiled at me really really big, but he has been flirting with my sister who's 3 yrs. older than him. I can't tell if he likes me he played footsie w/me, and passed notes while the teacher was out of the room. It was a few days from christmas, and she would not have had money for it. I gave her the support money instead of going through the registry. My husband was in love with that girl before our marriage but I did not know that. Marriage with me was on the initiative and proposal of his parents and it appears he married me to please his parents. That woman also got married after our marriage. After producing two children her husband died. My husband has always been in close contact with that woman and the woman says to him that those are his children. My husband has been misbehavng in our marriage since its start. When I became pregnant he felt very upset and suggested abortion. I refused that my child is seven years old now. Every week-end he declares some lame excuse to attend some business meeting in the town in which his beloved widow and two children live. Most of times he just slips away to that town even without informing me and my child. He is always under financial pressure, and leave me and my child deprived from even ordinary pleasures of a family life. My child and me wish to stop this utter nonsence.

My friend tried asking this question but here goes...I have liked this guy for almost 3 years now. He was my best friend in 4th grade and he liked this other girl. In fifth grade we weren't friends...he figured out I liked him and said nothing...when we went on a 3 day field trip he met this girl in my class. 6th grade (now) that girl told him "do you like me and will you be my bf?" he said yes and now they are together.
