During da summer he told me if i was willing 2 marry him a yr. from then.i kept breaking up w/him when i would get mad but he would always convince me 2 get back w/ him.4 month later he told me we should take things slow cuz we were having 2 many problems so i told him "no" that we have been 2gether 4 so long already 2 take things slow.i told him that either he committs to me now& we become engaged or its over.he said he was 2 scared& that he wasnt ready.the last time he called was 6 weeks ago& i was accusing him of leading me on all this time 2 believe he loved me the same way i did.i thought he would defend himself and tell me that its not TRUE but all he did was agree w/ me& said "im sorry".i have hurt him in the past so i dont know if he ment it or he is just trying 2 get back at me.my quest. are how do i get him 2 want 2 marry me and feel the same way 4 me?is there still a chance?do u think i should call him or wait 4 him 2 call?N E 1 ever been in this situation PLEASE HELP!

There's no need to type like that!!! If you want more people to take your question seriously, you need to type properly so people can understand what you're trying to say. All the numbers in here confused me....like 2gether, and 4too long...it's confusing. Especially when you're talking about months.
But anyway, what I think you should do is forget about him. Don't try to force a decision out of him to get him to "marry" you. That's a HUGE and life-changing commitment. I don't think there is still a chance, and I think you should wait for HIM to call.

If he has given up then there is nothing that you can do except to move on. You guys obviously had your fair share of problems. If it is ment to be then he will come back. You can't force someone to want to do something they are scared of. If anything I would call him and just tell him that you are want to be friends and see where that will take things.
