I was on a date with this guy at the beach and we were just talking and out of the blue he asked me, what race are you ? And I said I am half White, a quarter Native American, and a quarter Black. Then he said "That is amazing because you are beautiful, I guess its a good thing you don't look or talk very Black".


Questions:
1.Is he racist or something ?
2.What is "talking Black", all of the people on both sides of my family speak proper english.


About me:
-I am 19
-My Mom is White and my Dad is Black & Native American
-My Dad is a Cardiologist & my Mom is a Teacher
-I have goldish/carmel skin, I have long straight hair, I am tall & thin, and I have green eyes
-The guy I was on a date with was full White just in case you were wondering

heres the thing, theres this guy one year older than me, and i barely know him, but never have talked to him personaly like ever! and i really wanna meet him! which means that the first step is talking to him......he is always in school recess sometimes alone, which would be perfect to go talk to him but omg! im sooo embarrased! i just know ima get so nervous and i wont know what to say. This question is for my friend.

So she has this amazing boyfriend. You can totally tell they are in love. She is pregnant. she just found out 1 month ago, yes her boyfriend is the father. He is in a bandand is trying to make it big, so he will be traveling the country with his band for a while. She demands he go...so he is gonna travel. They got in an arguement and he is leaving in 2 days. She really misses him. Would you ever break it off over an arguement?

in a more then a friend way. This guy I like and i have only seen a few times stares at me a lot and when i asked him whose hair was nicer mine or this other guy he said mine. They moved into an apt. together in November 2006.December of 2006 he got into a motorcycle accident,broke his back,punchured lung,broken ribs,etc. He is okay. He had back surgery. He is able to walk around,actually he is encouraged to do light exercise. Well his brother moved into the 2nd bedroom of their apt. to help out, so he is paying 500 for rent per month. Her boyfriend is on disability(obviously), the police reports say the accident is his fault, he owes $12,000 for his hospital bills. My sister is working. A LOT. She works overtime every single day,and on Saturday as well. He has her give him her check, & gives her a small portion. Seriously small. And puts the rest in his account for bills,rent,etc. She has to ask him if she wants to buy shoes,a new top,etc. Then he says we are broke, cant afford it, so on. But just last week he bought a remote controlled helecoptor,it was 80 bucks. He spends a bunch of $, but gets mad when she wants to spend $. What the heck?

ok well there's a guy ..i met on a website..and i dated him for a week or 2..then broke up..and he became my friend on myspace..he is starting to say he wants to meet me..so this summer he's comin to meet me at the mall with my friends.
me and him are christains so i hope it goes well..

For awhile my husband had been acting distant toward me. We don't talk much, he's always working so we barely see each other. He wants my son & I to move in w/my parents & he knows I don't want to. I have started being the one to be distant now. It's not b/c I want to be rude but my feelings are hurt plus I think he is cheating on me. I don't have much to say to him b/c of that. I don't want to confront him about my suspicions & the fact he's been lying to me until after my son & I move out b/c I feel like I don't know him anymore & I don't know how he'd react if I confront him. Anyway, now that I have started being distant he starts with this whole, "I really miss you & love you" bit that he really wasn't doing before. He calls me during the day at work to "make sure everything is ok w/me." And to tell me "I really wish you were here right now" & stuff like that. Why is he doing this once I become distant & when I know he has lying about where he is on most weekends?

he says that he loves me very much but that sometimes he also feels that he wants to be alone and that he doesn't know if stay together or not? I even asked him f there is another person and he said no. He is willing to go to counseling to try thing out also we moved away from our family and friends and we do not like the place where we are now. I think this has something to do with his confusion. I really want for things to work out between us, I love him very much. I want to try to work things out but his confusions also confuse me they make me down sometimes. I even told him if he wants to take sometime to go back home and we could take a break to think things more thorough! what to dou think? please advise. Thank you

so this one boy at my school asked me out but I said "no". Hes really nice and after he asked me out I started to feel awkward aroound him because I always used to talk to him a lot but just as a friend. My husband's brother and his family gave me a used airline bag (the ones airlines give away for free when travelling business or first class) for Christmas. The bag contained used socks; earplugs and a used toothbrush covered in toothpaste and muck. The bag itself was stained yellow due to age. I mentioned this to my brother-in-law and he apologised immediately, he explained that his wife kept presents and recycled them, she must have just grabbed this for me without checking it. I subsequently received a call from my sister-in-law saying that she had paid good money for the bag and was very angry, no apology. My mother-in-law was annoyed with me for mentioning it and said that I should have just thrown out the bag and forgotten about it. Was I wrong in pointing out that they gave me a used toothbrush for Christmas ?
