If it is a wedding ring...yeap. If it is a class ring or club/association ring it means he is advertising to replace it with a wedding ring.

May not mean he's married, could mean he is in a commited relationship. My boyfriend wears his ring on that finger all the time, I think it's a respect thing. Or maybe he likes the ring and it does not fit on the finger on the other hand.

More then likely yes or it could also meen he is in a very serious and commited relationship. BUT maybe he just likes a ring on the finger. Usuallyl yes that is where the wedding band is and should be worn at all times. If you are wondering ask the guy about it.

Wearing a wedding band or plain precious metal band on that particular finger is intended as a declaration of being married.
It doesn't necessarily mean a person is married, it simply means that person wants to imply he is married.
A different kind of ring (except solitaire settings) on that finger? Doesn't mean a thing.

If it is not one of those doom shaped college rings, well sure he is married. But you can ask him anyways
