I've been dating him for over 2 years now, and they broke over 3 years ago. He was honest with me, (after I saw a text message she sent him), and told me that he called her just to say hi. I trust our relationship, and I think he loves me. What really bothers me if that when I asked him if he told her that he has a girlfriend (me), he told me that he didn't tell her because they didn't really talked that much. I haven't asked him about her anymore, even though I feel tempted to ask him if he called her again, or if she called him. He says that he realized after talking to her how much he loves me, and that she is the DEVIL. Should I trust him totally? I did it with my ex-husband, and now he is living with his ex-girlfriend. I love my BF a lot, and he treats me very well, I have no complaints, so far...He says that he is totally over her, but I'm under the impression that she might try to keep contacting him because she is now divorced!!

My 93 year old grandmother and I had a fight the other day because she had a problem with my playing with my food (you know the usual stuff....pretending my chicken nuggets were rocket ships and putting my bread in my drink and pretending it was going to drown). She told me to start acting my age and I instinctively fired back, "Why don't you start acting your age." Right after I said that she died.

up to a counter to get the food, or do you have it served to them?
We are having a small outdoor wedding in a pavilion with family only in May. I am making Italian beef for sandwiches in crock pots, plus other side dishes. We are using pretty paper plates.

Many of my older relatives told me that even at my age of 18 years old, i should concentrate on pursuing my passion and career first, dating comes later...
But i'm very curious as in ... do people have to give up their dating opportunities for their career or vice versa?

the rehearsal dinner. They expect me and my mom to pay for everything else. I can't afford it whatsoever. I'm struggling with paying for my bride's maids dresses or helping them pay for them. I think if they want to be "traditional" in that way, they should go by the books and pay for everything else...OR help with whatever they can. Any advice? or suggestions?!

One aspect of the Tara Grant murder that has bothered me is the fact that this woman had several au pairs coming in to the home and was often out of the country on business trips. I only want to draw on this woman's life (not her horrible death) as a launching point for what I think is an important debate. Call me old fashioned and traditional but I personally do not think a woman can make her children, her husband and her home her first priority when she hires people to care for her children and her home while she is away long hours. I find it a bit selfish when a woman gives birth to children but then for whatever reason has no desire to actually MOTHER them and pays other women to mother them for her while she climbs the corporate ladder. I think if you decide to have children, YOU should parent them. Not some au pair from some foreign country.
