Any church for any religion, no matter what your beliefs, is a place of worship for those who take the religion seriously and should be respected.
Its not a place to go to show off or TRY to act cool. If you want to do that then go to the club or some other place where that type of behavior is acceptable.
If you can't respect a place of worship and those there to worship, then maybe you shouldn't go and that would okay and the respectful thing to do.

Ive seen an halter boy (the one carrying the cross) actually bounce in church (u know: walk that ghetto style, lean back, bounced walk)-LOL
He wasn't being disrespectful or anything, just the way he was. Its ok i think, as long as its not purposeful

Well I am a firm believer that you can worship in any way you want, however, you also must be considerate of the other people in church... They most likely have a different view of how to worship and forcing yourself upon them is just as unfair as them telling you that you can't act as yourself in church...

The church is a public place where anybody and everybody are welcome to attend. It can be a charismatic, silent or sad. It is the people in it who makes it different. So if someone wants to be ghetto, let is be man!

Some people feel uncomfortable and this is their way of putting up a front. As time progresses he will blend in or leave. Give him a chance and make him welcome.
