Our daughter is our 1st born out of 3. girl 16,boy 13,girl 11.
She's always been and extraordinary child, excellent grades, wonderful disposition, outgoing, fun, a delight to be around. Then it happened...... she turned 16 starting seeking her independence, which is natural but her attitude is unbearable. I spend more timing disliking her than liking her... I love all my children deeply, let me clarify that. But there are times when I don't like her. She thinks the world revolves around her... cliche, I know but true. She is moody, lazy, disrespectful and unappreciative. She is nothing like she was a year ago...Is this a faze... Will she grow out of it... I know i need to pick my battles but I feel like I am battling constantly. She recently lied, she has never lied before. She was the kind of child who would confess something because the guilt was killing her. You didn't even have to ask, she would confess before we even knew something was broken for example. help

One day, i feel like i just want to strangle her. The next, she's like my best friend. Every fight we get into, she blames it on me and then everyone else gets mad at me, then a month later we're best friends again. How can i stop this from happening without starting another fight? She's really sensitive.

hey everyone, i think im falling for my friend. im 16 and he is 17, and were both on the high school tennis team. i think he is really awesome (and totally adorable lol). i dont think i would feel this way if he was not giving me hints, signs etc. like texting each other jokes en espanol, with nicknames etc. and when we walk by each other in school in the hallways, we high 5, sometimes he like touches my stomach, and its like he half-@$$ hugs me lol. and i caught him just gazing at me, and we laugh together a lot, and he drives me places too. and asks lots of questions (some dumb ones) but all of this attention is only directed at me, and has never had a girl friend, and rejected everyone that asked him to homecoming. what do u think i should do? thanks much.

Here is the situation:
My ex husband and I have been divorced since my little girl was 3 months old. His new wife is threatened by me. They were together before we ever met, broke up, and the moment that we divorced she showed up on his door step and got pregnant twice. They are not married.
Usually my ex and I are ripping each others heads off, but we are trying to be civil for the sake of our little girl. He told me today that his wife (Nicole) is giving him a hard time with us communicating. For example, he kept a dress that I needed for her pictures this weekend and I called everyday to remind him to bring it to me, and he wouldn't even answer his phone because it causes problems with her.
I also have to make sure he pays his child care on his weeks so I call him to remind him so there is no missed pays. I would love if I never had to talk with him again, but she just can't handle it and is a jealous idiot! What am I supposed to do? She is stuck with me for 15 years!

I did not ask my fiance if she had ever had an abortion. We were talking about the subject and I told her that I had been set up on a blind date several years ago. The blind date told me she had to get a couple of things out in to the open so she would know whether we could move forward. She told me she had an abortion in the past. I was polite and did not voice my opinion, but I never called the girl again.

My fiance asked me if that was the reason I never called the girl again. I said yes.

She then precedes to tell me she had an abortion in the past. I cut her off and told her I did not want to know any details. I know the pregnancy was from a previous relationship.

I love my fiance very much, but this knowledge has changed my opinion of her. I feel like I've somehow lost some of the admiration and adoration I had for her.

I don't want to marry someone that I do not fully respect. If this feeling does not go away soon, should I break things off?

Ive recently moved in a house which my husband always owned before hes even met me.His mother lives in it which isnt the problem,we get along great,the problem is that my husband's 20 year old nephew has been living here for the past 2 years which was only supposed to be a few months.He doesnt work and he contributes nothing to this house and whats worse my mother in law babies him which annoys the heck out of me yet Im afraid to say something because i feel imthe newcomer i think it might cause tension and problems between us.he says he will leave in October which is still a ways,in the meantime my baby daughter has to sleep in our room because the house has only 3 bedrooms and i have to sit back and watch her baby him.She buys his food,cooks it for him,washes his clothes,while he sits up in his room watching tv the lazy bum.What really upset me this evening was that I had taken some ice-cream from the freezer and had the nerve 2 tell me it was 'his' ice-cream.I was so mad. What 2 do?

my boyfriend and i have been going out for almost a year and a half. there's a sock hop coming up in a few days and my boyfriend refuses to go with me saying that he has to go to science olympiad which i am also in. i don't know what to do becuase i love him to death but he says he is never going to go to any dances this year. the only dates i can repeatedly get him to go on are up to the square (my cities center) or to go see a movie. problem is the square isn't very romantic and i only go to the movie on special occasions. if you could give me some tips on how to make walking around more romantic or how to convinve him to go to the dance it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a Cancer-he's Scorpio. We immediately hit it off and things went quickly. About a month into it, he ended things with no warning. He wanted to take a job in another state, which initially he didn't want to take because he had the same opportunity at his current company. He also stated that the hour drive to me was tough. Three days after he ended things, he contacted me. We decided to get back together and see what happens with the new job offer and the current job (mid April).

Since we got back together, things have cooled down. He works 70 hours a week (he always had), and I understand how tough that is. What bothers me is that he just doesn't seem into me anymore like he used to. Before I KNEW he was into me by his words and actions. Keep in mind he calls me faithfully every night and we talk for over an hour, by his choice. Everything I've read says that Scorps don't do things they dont want to. What am I supposed to read into all this? I feel like the friend now.
