hey everyone, i think im falling for my friend. im 16 and he is 17, and were both on the high school tennis team. i think he is really awesome (and totally adorable lol). i dont think i would feel this way if he was not giving me hints, signs etc. like texting each other jokes en espanol, with nicknames etc. and when we walk by each other in school in the hallways, we high 5, sometimes he like touches my stomach, and its like he half-@$$ hugs me lol. and i caught him just gazing at me, and we laugh together a lot, and he drives me places too. and asks lots of questions (some dumb ones) but all of this attention is only directed at me, and has never had a girl friend, and rejected everyone that asked him to homecoming. what do u think i should do? thanks much.

also sometimes its like hes never available to do stuff and others hes always around and loves to hang out with me (more the hang out with me) or am i just being paranoid cuz i really really rly like him!! lol

well it sounds like he likes you as much as you like him..he is for sure going to ask you out soon..so mabey you should wait..but if your the type of girl who likes to ask the boy out id go for it..you can be 4 sure he likes you..give it a try

Well, right now we are still in February, that means there is at least two more school dances going on right? Either a spring fling and a Prom. Why don't you ask if he would like to go with you, not that you would like to go with him. That you know if he wants to rather than him knowing you want to. Get it?
I mean, crushes at 16 and 17 are common even between friends. And because you two already hang out and do things together it should be in your interest to see how well you'd do as a couple; however just to warn you sometimes it doesn't work out, because a boyfriend is a different thing than a friend who is a boy, it comes with different roles and expectations. But you don't want to regret or think about how it would have been. And certainly later on don't try to break up his relationship or he try to break up your relationship, when you or he finally has the courage to tell the truth. So, first ask questions that will express how he feels about you. and make your move from there.

It sounds like this guy might really likke you!
But, don't go too fast.
I mean don't try and become BF/GF in the next few months so, let him make the first move!
Don't try to grab his attention more than you have already have, I mean don't start dressing sexy or act seggestive because, he will either want you for ONLY your body of he won't respect you! Just stay the way you are, that is obviously what got him attracted to you in the first place.
Just play it safe!

You should get one of your other friends to ask him questions about how he feels about you and if he would ever consider being in a relationship with you, and if he gives the answers that you wanna hear then go for it and tell him how you are feeling.

first u need to make sure you arent striking him as one of hte guys... I think he likes you but why dont you tell him how you feel... Or instead of being so direct ask him if he wants to go do something that would require no one else being around.... just u and him. he may open up then... good luck

well you two seem really close, I have been in that situation twice. And i would really try to see if it could work out. But if there's a chance that it doesnt you'll always have him as a friend because when your really close as friends things dont change when it doesnt work out in you 2 daing. its always whay you think is best though.

Flirt, tease, but be careful. He might end up resenting your friendship if you misconceive the clues. From your description it kinda seems like its a two way street though. Go for it just be careful.
