Why do people give up their friends for a bf/gf? It's happened twice to me, and I can't think of a logical explanation.

My son is 23 years old and is doing pretty well, and Ive been a single mother all my life raising a 15 yr old daughter and Im having some financial difficulties. I have a bill coming up that I cant pay and I thought of asking him to mail me a loan...I just have a conscience that tells me thats wrong. Parents shouldnt borrow money from their kids, it should be the other way around. Im so confused. What do you think?

I attended a library lecture where the premise was that the more money a man has, the more he will act out when his "functions" begin to fail him because he can afford it and the wealthier a group of people the less emphasis that they place on commitment. . Do you believe that this is true? Has this been your experience?

well when i got to know that im pregnant for almost 2 months i dont have the strength to tell with the guy about it coz i know he will let me to loose my baby and i dont want it to loose it.... i know its hard for the child to grew without a father but i dont think the father of my child is worth it thats why i did not tell him that we had a child... do you think im wrong with my decision???

My ex girlfriend broke up with me about a week ago. She told me at first that she needed some time to think because she wasn't sure about whether or not she loved me but then she broke up with me. I know she still cares about me but she won't asnwer her phone when I call and won't reply when I text her. I know that if we were to talk we could work things out. Why is she giving me the silent treatment and what do I need to do to get her to talk to me?

Hi I am 28, my girlfriend is turning 25, I dated her since she was turning 17 we had a fantastic relationship the past almost 8 years... it would be 8 years next month for us, the past month has been very difficult for us, we got in many argument, we had a great christmas, however once new year came we had problems, it all began, we got in many fights in our relationship and have always gotten through it however this time its different, lately I noticed she been acting different, like when ur with someone for this long u know when something isn't right, so this past Fri I asked her if she felt we been different lately she nodded yes, I then asked her if she felt we been distanace lately she nodded yes, I then painfully asked her if she still want to be with me she shrudded her shoulder like she doesn't know. She told me she want to be alone now and be independent, fact that she met me at 16 she said she want to enjoy being single again I did not see this comin as we were fine 2 mt ago

Any women out there married many years and husband spends to much time with job and caring about other people and can't or won't function like he should sexually? I'm 17 yrs. married. We have 2 teenage boys. I'm 47 but feel like 30, hubby 58, he's able but, he just feels he should slow down. He's healthy too. It's his whole attitude that sucks. Then of course when attitude sucks so does the physical part.
