Is the intention for things to go further in a mans head when he flirts all of the time. would you even bother to flirt with someone you aren't attracted to all of the time.

We live in a society where it's perfectly normal for people to cohabit after one night of sex as strangers or for someone to leave his or her spouse of many years just because he "wants some space" or found someone more attractive.

I have come to believe that a couple who lives together, sleeps together and shares what they have is married whether or not they have a piece of paper. I think that people who cohabit without a legal marriage because they think they can easily leave at any time are lying to themselves.

It is more than a tradition that the state and church give permission and blessings to our marriages. Under the concept of separation of church and state, the government has assumed that responsibility and is only guided by the cultural norms of the moment.

I think my girlfriend loves me beyond a shadow of a doubt. She tells me I need to be “possessive.” I am like what? She says that I am not jealous enough and that I need to be possessive. I am wondering if this is a red flag.

I have been single for 7 months and so I have tried a few internet dating thingos. I have found that most are fronts for "Russian Bride" scams (they write for a while then ask for money to come and visit) or full of absolute nutters (not that I am saying that I am perfect). What are other peoples experiences?

PS. No I won't lend you $850 to help out with the airfare so that you can come and visit....

A young lady had an eye on a guy from a different world who happens to work with her at the same place 2 years ago. The interest was mutual. He never realised she was trying to leave her phone number before he travelled away and left work. He found out that later, but never got her phone number. During his working time at that place, the guy was stressed out, he could not ask her out due to personal issues outside his control as he didnot want to bring his own baggages at the time, but she never knew the truth! Will she still be interested in meeting that guy again after more than 2 years or is it too late?

Romantic and realistic people are welcome to answer!

I have three friends, two girls and one guy, that I love and trust more than any family member. Even though my mom and dad are really good parents and my little sis is very awsome besides lapsing into a princess attitude, I just feel like an outsider to the family. Where as this guy is like a very close brother to me, one girl I have a pure innocent love relationship with, where she does a good job dealing with me. Then the other girl I sorta have an unstable friendship love type deal.

My parents are both intelligent, and love me very much. Very open with me and willing to help me very much. Same with sis. But I still feel like I just like them because its an automatic thing that you have to love your family. I just love my friends more.

Hi everyone, I need a little advice. I made a resolution this year that I'm trying to fulfil. I am a 23 year old female who is a chat room junkie. My problem is not so much that I am addicted to the internet, but that the internet is pretty much my only link to the outside world, and without it I might go days or weeks without actually having a conversation with anyone. I am extreamly shy and have a real fear of rejection and find it dificult to trust others. I don't like, trying new things, being in unfamiliar areas, in public or crowded places and have never gone to a party, club, bar or even the movies in my life. Perhaps this could be the result of having been kept isolated from the world until I was about 16. (I never went to school, I was thought at home) I want this to be the year I have a "real" freind for the first time. Thank you for any advice you can give, I don't want to live like this forever.

We have been together for 5 1/2 years. He is 23 and I'll be 23 this year. We both have great jobs, but still live at home to save money. I am anxious about a proposal because we've been together so long and I know that we're going to get married some day. Should I be so anxious?

This girl at work was trying to break up me and my wife, I was clearly not interested distpite telling her, so instead of going to my boss I fixed her up with my friend. I recently after 15 years stopped talking to him because his drug use got out of hand: he stole, he was irrational, and violent to me. I don't know if he is clean or not, I no longer trust him, and I want to steer clear of her to keep my job and my personal life. They are acting like i'm the immature one dispite my rational explanation why I don't want to be friends. am I being stubborn and unforgiving?

I know a woman who is very independent and very strong- yet she laments that her boyfriend has not yet proposed marriage. I asked her why she doesn't propose to him- but she told me 'it doesnt work that way. Why not? Shouldn't a woman be able to be the one to propose marriage?

I really do not understand my chemics, but I know if the guy in front of me is not bluntly pretty and sexy. I feel not only turned off, more I feel repulsed by any physical thought of him, despite he would be completely ok for other girls. Well I have to mention that I am an adult that has never been in a complete physical relation, if that would be of any importance for you to figure out my situation.

My sister is getting married this Spring in an outdoor, garden wedding. Being a very traditional family, we wanted the guests to throw rice as the newly wedded couple exit the garden. We were told that we could not throw rice but had to use rose petals or bird seed.

What in the world is wrong with throwing rice? It has been done for hundreds of years.
