Not often. I mean, it's easy to find the "perfect" guy on the internet, but they hardly ever work out. 0/3 have worked out for me, and the last I found a really perfect guy. At least, I thought he was all that. Later I met a really really really nice guy at my school, and he's everything that I could have wanted.
I've heard of 2 online relationsships working out.
1) a bf/gf relationship, they live about an hour or so away from eachother in England.
2) a couple in america, but they have lots of problems, because they've been through "so much" over the internet that they're pressuring themselves to stay together, even if sometimes the bad times outnumber the good.
If the person lives near you then go for it, but otherwise I suggest you find someone who lives near you.

Kind of depends on what you mean. I met a couple guys on Match.com and it was a joke..then I met the one. We just picked out rings together yesterday, he is the love of my life and I am no teenager. I have been married before so I know what I am talking about. Frivolous relationships on the Internet that are based on sex talk and fantasy will never be real. But if you are both actually looking for the real thing...it can work out. I am living proof. I wish you happiness, no matter what!

It hasn't so far for me but I'm rushing thing and was dating a scram on the Internet. I have friends that are happy married so I keep looking. Have faith do not give up. There is some one out there for you and all of us.. There is just as much lying in the real word as the Internet world. Once you find the one you like tell them you will send them a card with where you want to meet them. Look them and their address up on www.familywatchdog.us and meet them in a Public place. I guess internet relationships are much like other relationships, you sometimes come across someone who is worth the bother, but there are a lot of rotten apples in the barrel to sift through to find them.

It works my dear! I have a friend of mine who got married after getting introduced to a wonderful person from another country and now having 2 cute babies ... it depends on the right choice and smart observance of one another ... Internet same as life. .. so both can be true or fake ... we just has to feel and think.

I used to think not until my cousin found his soon-to-be wife from an internet relationship. I guess maybe they aren't different from the conventional ones.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. But from the 1 experience I had I don't think so.. The guy or who ever it was had my emotion like a dam yo-yo.. be careful..all I know I could have been talking to 60 year old bold head man using his kids pic..

Sometimes they do. But most of the time, you meet someone that isnt right for you. And there are phsyco killers that go on those sites looking for an innocent soul.
