I've been in a relationship for almost 5 years. I have given almost everything of myself to make it work. And though he is a good guy, I wish he were more romantic, more caring and a little less selfish. Take Valentine's day, he thinks it is stupid and wont even think of getting me anything. I mean Valentine's day isn't really anything special, but it hurts me that he doesn't try to be romantic becaus it makes me happy. Or when I ask him to spend time with me, he'll just brush me off or sit with me for a minute then get up and leave. I don't know if maybe I've given too much of myself. I'm having thoughts of just giving up and moving out. I love him very much, but if a man wont give me what I need then should I stay?

My spouse and I have been together for 15 years, married for 7. He has been the type in the past to run the bars, stay out late with friends, be disrespectful, immature, you name it. The past 8 months he has really changed his tune. Started telling me how much he loves me, how sorry he is for everything he's done in the past and is much more involved as a father than he ever has been. The problem is, I am no longer physically attracted to him, nor am I happy with him and I feel like I should be. I just feel like it's 'too late.' I need some advice. I've been feeling this way for way too long. Do I suck it up because of my children and try to make it work even though I'm not happy or do I move on and try to stay friends with him for the kids?

I dated this guy for about 4 years. We got along very well and I was so happy and so in love with him. I really thought that he was "the one". Towards the end of the relationship we had some little issues just as every other couple does. The relationship ended when I asked him if he would marry me and he said no. Well, several months later I met someone new and we married. Throughout all of this I remained close friends with my Ex. He never dated anyone else through all this. Now I have been married to my hubby for about a year and things are pretty bad. I see my Ex on a regular basis and I still love him very much. What do you all think about this? He says HAD he married anyone it would have been me. I think maybe he is realizing that he made a mistake.

We have been together for a while and in the beginning the son was good then as our relationship grew.. the son became nasty. After speaking to him nicely, it was fixed and forgotten.... fiand its been good so far, until the other day he comes out of his face like a snotty punk and I just can't handle it especially acts this way in front of the babysitter.

i'm single parent with 4 kids, youngest 9 months is from relationship i'm in now, been with bf 2 years.I've asked him few times when hes going to move in the last 6 months hes been saying once we're bit straight paying our debts off which r nearly done but recently told me not moving in as work is really slack last few months and we won't be able to manage living , told me he won't sign on jobseekers as never bothered signing on when no work b4.. comes round every day to see me and kids but will I be waiting forever as when self employed you've periods of work and then hardly no work at all... dunno if he's not ready of commitment or he really cares for me as told me lately if I don't want relationship like this I just come round few times every week to see my son .. he lives with his dad always has done not been in serious relationship this long before . He very good with my other kids takes them out etc I've even mention to him i'll work parttime when baby year old to help

Yesterday morning my great aunt died and I need to know if how I'm feeling is acceptable.

My dad's family is close but not really close. That being said my great aunt raised my dad and helped raise me when I was very young. Because of this I have always thought of her as a grandma. When my sister and I were called yesterday to tell us she had passed away, we thought that we would be notified of things like when/if the funeral and all the doing would be held. We hadn't heard anything by late last night, so my mom called my dad today to find out what was going on. She then called me and said there wasn't going to be a funeral because she is going to be cremated but something special in the future. That was fine but then she told me that my dad's family is getting together this afternoon and pretty much we are not invited. After my mom told me that I felt really heartbroken.

How would you feel if this happened with your family?

I am 26 with 2 kids. My boyfriend and i been together for 5 year. 2 months ago i found out that he been cheating on me for 6 months. after finding out i took him back after a long talk. i still feel that he is cheating but with a different woman ( dont know for sure) i just have a feeling. he would delete number iut of his phone, he would not call me at work like how he used to, we do not talk to each other much. My best friend is pregnant, and I'm afraid that she's gonna lose her baby because she stresses too much. First of all she's only 17 so that's reason enough to panic, second of all her mom kicked her out of her house when she found out that she was pregnant, and third of all there's this girl that's been starting alot of sh** with ME and my best friend thinks she should fight for me. there's this guy i met where i used to work. we would flirt with each other all of the time, and we've had sex like 3 times, and whenever he calls me, I am at school, and whenever i try to call him, his voice mail comes on. i'm so confused! i don't know if i'm just a booty call or what, but if he liked me, wouldn't he be calling me all of the time trying to come and see me? he lives with his babymama, and he lives about an hour away from me. also, whenever we DO get in touch with each other, he tells me he is coming over in about 20 minutes, but then never shows up. is he just extremely busy, or should i read something into this? what should i do, and how does he feel about me?

how do you ask a guy to casually date?

we went out on one date and it went well (i thought so and that what he told his friend) but now this week it's been awkward. we've only talked once this week but now it's been downgraded to just awkward stares and at times i felt like he'll walk in the oppsoite direction when i come around. i was told that it'd probably awkward after the 1st date especially since we kissed.
i just want to him to know that i like him but i don't want to be his gf...just a casual date.
