So, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a month.
The problem is that Josh does not have much self confidence. He's the sweetest person. He calls when he says he will, treats me nicely, says I'm beautiful, sexy, hot, gorgeous, pretty, etc., and all around makes me happy that I was lucky enough to get him.

I just don't know what to do. He hates his voice (It is a little high, but it has this kind of texture that sounds really cool). I love it. It's so awesome sounding. He also doesn't think he's attractive, which is so far from the truth. I know lots of girls who like him, and he's just...hot. He...I don't know...imagine a really hot guy of about 6 feet with gauges in his ears, and you have Josh. Anyways, he just doesn't believe in his complete hotness. I have told him how handsome he is, and he just doesn't believe me. Argh, I don't know what to do to boost his self confidence the way he boosts mine.

I have heard anything from one month's salary to four months salary. First of all, is that before or after taxes? Secondly do you know what the right number of months is? Lastly what about bonuses? Do you take just the annual salary? My annual salary plus bonuses was $98,000. I live in one of the most expensive cities in the world so it is not like I have a ton of extra money though. What do you think is the right amount to spend? Also my girl doesn't even care if she gets a ring so I don't need responses about this shouldn't matter if she loves me and only goldiggers care about the salary to ring equation. This is more for me to get an idea of what to spend. Also if the ring is a $25,000 ring but I can get it for $15,000 is that like I am spending $25,000? Should my discounts be held against me in the calculations? Thanks so much.

here's the full story: I'm interested in a guy my age. [I'm 17, he's 18]. I've been single for about 5 months after ending a 17-month relationship because the guy was just a jerk; he's been single for over half of a year after dating a girl for about 3 years. I've talked to my friends about him and they've said he's been asking about me too. He's a decent guy; we're both in advanced classes and planning on going into engineering fields, love snowboarding, music, hate drugs and alcohol, and just overall similar. We're going on a ski trip this Saturday with our high school and we really only know each other, so I'll be with him from 6:30am until midnight. I'm not going to ask him out, although I want to, because I'd like to know if he likes me enough to do it. My question is should I just continue talking to him, drop hints, or just go ahead and ask him out?

How would you feel if...
If a girl broke up with you over the phone but you knew she had to because there was no way to do it in person (the circumstances didn't allow this).

And how would you feel if...
If a girl broke up with you in person, but three days later after she told you she needed to talk to you but you knew that she only waited those days because she couldn't see you in person (the circumstances didn't allow it).

I have been going out with my fiance for 10 months. we have known each other since kindgergarten. when we got engaged i was over the moon. why shouldnt i have been, i had a man who loved me for what i was, had a roof over my head, and i was head over heals in love with him. we NEVER fight. Suddenly im questioning if this is what ireally want. its been a month since he asked me to marry him btw. and i mean SERIOUSLY questioning.. my ex and my fiance are the only two guys ive ever slept with, i feel like im suddenly missing out on something by never having a one night stand or something, my ex has crept back into the picture, and even though he treated me like **** i find myself missing him terribly all the sudden. we havent done anything yet but im afraid if things dont change with my fiance soon, i might do something stupid. i have told my fiance how im feeling, but neither of us is sure what to do, cause we have never had a problem like this before...what do i do?
