How would you feel if...
If a girl broke up with you over the phone but you knew she had to because there was no way to do it in person (the circumstances didn't allow this).

And how would you feel if...
If a girl broke up with you in person, but three days later after she told you she needed to talk to you but you knew that she only waited those days because she couldn't see you in person (the circumstances didn't allow it).

Please answer this, I really need help. Just tell me how you would feel in both situations. Oh and also, just state your age after you answer so I can see where you're coming from or w/e.

Please, need a guy's POV!

Both of them has happened to me. If I had a girlfriend and she wanted to break up with me, I would much rather her tell me in person. You never know if he is gonna be paying complete attention to you if you dont do it that way. Well, I hope I helped you out. Oh, by the way I am 22.

I'd be pissed. But, when someone is hurt, they'll think of any reason to make you feel guilty so no matter if you did it over the phone, telegram, or in person, his feelings would not change at all - YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM - he's grabbing at straws to guilt you - his rightful feelings to have. A clean break should have no regrets and it is normal to feel bad about it but it's wrong to try and justify a situation to feel better about yourself - don't lie to yourself. Live with the decision and the pain that goes along with it. That's life. He'll move on and you'll move on. 30yrs.

i think it depends on how long you been going out for and how serious it was. if it wasnt that serious then over the phone is fine. If it was more serious then i think face to face is a good way for closure sake. And i dont think waiting 3 days cause of circumstances is that big a deal.

its not a guy or girl thing... if the circumstances didnt allow it than there was no other choice. and if he can't accept that then thats his problem not yours

If you never want to see him again, it doesn't matter how you do it.

If you want to remain friends, do it in person.
