i met this girl at a club on friday. she gave me her number and i decided to call her on monday. we were talking for a little while and everything was cool. she said she had to go but she would call me tomorrow. she never called. what does this mean??

Well having done this to many a guy.....it is kind of a brush off but not totally. She probably is dating several people and you may be in the running at one point to be in her rotation. See if choice 1, 2 or 3 don't come through or one falls out of the rotation, then she will call you out of the blue!
I often give guys my number thinking hmmmmmm he may be a contender but I'm not just that interested yet, so I hate to say I will string them along....not return phone calls and then one day nobody else is available ....I'll call!
So if she does call that may be the senario...................

well maybe she is too shy, but if she was the one who gave you her number, then she was obviously not shy to do that, if she dont call w/in 2 -3 days, throw out her number and move on, she obviously doesnt have enough time for a guy, or she already had one

Wait a few days. She could have unintentionally forgotten. After a few days, if she still never called you back, I wouldn't pursue it any further. That's an indication that she's not interested.

Perhaps it means nothing maybe she didnot get around to it, but you dont call and ask what happen it is her turn to call and until she calls just stay put.

Or her parents wouldn't let her use the phone.
Or she forgot.
Or when she remembered it was too late, she had to go to bed.
Call her and continue to talk. See how she responds. That should alert you to the fact that she either does want to chat or she doesn't.

maybe shes busy, give her another day or 2 and call her again, but don't give her the 5th degree....that will just distance her.....or maybe she s in a relationship already or maybe really not interested.....
