Don't think it matters who you are married to. Child support is related to the paternity of the child. If the child's father is not helping support the kid, then by law he is required to and you can file for it.

Are you sure who the child's father is? Does your husband know this?
All you have to do is file. You might have to consent to a DNA test.
Being married to another man is not a block to your collecting child support. The only problem is if your husband doesn't know the truth about the child's parentage.

Your child's father is repsonsible for his child whether you remarry or not. If he isn't paying, contact the attorney general's office in the state you live in and file on him.

Yes. Not only can you, you need to. Everyone needs to be held responsible for the children they bring into this world. Also, your child deserves to have their parentage legalized. This is free and you don't need a lawyer.

your ex has to pay. no matter what you do.go to your court house. and file for support. you can look on your p/c to see if you can find the papers to file.for free.

You can't once you marry. It is now your current husband's responsibility to take care of the kid. Any attempt on your part to get support could legally be considered harassment by the kid's father, so don't even try.

go o child support agency and get them to establish paternity. they will do that and begin the collection process.

as long as the child has this mans name on birth cert he has to pay support
