I guess most men and women are afraid of the word "commitment" (I'm starting to think it's more of a taboo than anything else).. BUT, at what point exactly can one consider a relationship and exclusive relationship? I'll even go as far as asking at what point do men consider a relationship a "real" relationship?? :)

My son is 10 months old and has his mothers last name. He was born in Utah but now lives in Oregon with his mother who has temporary custody. I also live in Oregon. I get to see him 3 days a week. Can I have his last name changed to mine even if she is opposed to it?

My brother was getting all up in my face, he is 9 and I am 10. We were at school, and I walked over to my friends, he wanted to show off and so he came over and tackled me! And so I pushed him back into the wall, and his head was gushing blood. He cracked his head! I couldn;t stop crying, my mom had to take him to the ER and we both had to miss school (I had to go with him and my mom to the ER.) So now there is a cut in the back of his head, probably about maybe....1 and a half inches long. Barley a centimeter wide. The doctor said he might need stiches or staples! But they used glue. Luckily it didn't hurt that much. But I feel so bad. He is going to have a bald spot on the back of his head now where the cut was. I don't know what I can do to make it up to him. I apologize once every hour, and ask him if he needs anything. Yet I feel like I ruined him, a little part....on the back of his head.

me and my hubby are newly webs and if hes not upset everything's perfect we have so many things in common, But once he get upset over something silly and its hell from there, and he'll say things that hurt me a lot things i wouldn't say the things he say over a dumb disagreement he'll brake things once i start telling him hes wrong that i dont deserve this treatment. he'll grab me if i try leaveing and the reason i try to leave is because he starts to brake things and scream at me very violently. But once he calms down hes begging me not to leave him that im everything to him and whats sad is that i know he loves me and i do love my husband but what can do about this temper problem its ruening my love for him, and my will to stay married its ruening my wishes and dreams

Recently, my uncle’s car broke down and I had to go pick him up at Brockbridge Correction Facility, where he works as a Corrections Officer. While there, my uncle decided to give me a tour of the facility, and pointed out the disturbingly large number of inmates who were wearing diapers (which were quite evident sue to the fact that they were about four inches thick).

Apparently, these inmates had engaged in sodomy and now lacked the ability to hold in their stool.

I was wondering if girls suffered the same problem after engaging in such activity and if so, why would you engage in this activity in the first place???

PS. I can see no reason why our tax dollars should be spent of diapers for inmates when we could just as easily, and much more cheaply, issue them paper towels with which to line their underwear.

I'm have a long distance relationship with my boyfriend and my mom has annoyingly expressed her discomfort everytime I'm on the phone. I'm usually on the phone with him twice a day, about an hour - 2 hours each. We had a talk and she accepted my excessive phone use but now she's blaming all my problems on the phone. Example: I didn't clean my room for a week and she think it's all my boyfriend's fault. She said she does not want me to talk to him or for him to call again.

This is unfair because I'm 17, college-bound, a 4.0 student and have been obedient. She claims she's worried about me but nothing is there to worry about, he's not even in the same state as me! She thinks I use the phone way too much but if I was online all the time, she wouldn't say a thing. I would IM him but he has no computer at home.

How do I get her to understand that not everything has to be her traditional belief of what a boyfriend is? She makes it sound like talking on the phone is as bad as smoking weed.

I have some friends of mine at another college who just lost a wonderful friend that I didn't get the chance to meet. The funeral is tomorrow and I'm going to it to be a support and encouragement and just a friendly touch/a shoulder to cry on and someone to hug them when they can't keep it in anymore. I mean if they are all crying they can't support each other too much at the present moment.

So my question is...is it inappropriate for me to be going since I didn't know the person but I know know the friends of the person??

Okay heres the thing. Im 15 i met my boyfriend when i was 14 and he was 17 he turned 18 in Nov. We dated from Feb.-May Broke up then from July-to now...we then told my rents in Nov. They wernt real fond of it but they accepted it and didnt care. Then they were told that my boyfriend hits me nad all this other ****. Which isnt ture. They know we have been together for almost a year off and on. And they think i lied about SOO much more then what i have. [1] So my best friend has this boyfriend that she is CRAZY about. In an obsessive stalker kind of way. And her boyfriend happens to be a really great friend of mine. And she's extrememly jealous. I've had about eight people tell me she's called me names such as, 'whxre', 'slxt', among many other things. She has asked me to stay away from him and stop talking to him. What should I do?

So when he asked me out I threw the note away not knowing what to do. He saw it and now won't talk to me at all. He's extrememly hurt. And to make things worse my friend found out about the note [because a guy in my class got it out of the trash and read it to the class] and now she says it's my fault they broke up and she's really mad at me.
