My brother was getting all up in my face, he is 9 and I am 10. We were at school, and I walked over to my friends, he wanted to show off and so he came over and tackled me! And so I pushed him back into the wall, and his head was gushing blood. He cracked his head! I couldn;t stop crying, my mom had to take him to the ER and we both had to miss school (I had to go with him and my mom to the ER.) So now there is a cut in the back of his head, probably about maybe....1 and a half inches long. Barley a centimeter wide. The doctor said he might need stiches or staples! But they used glue. Luckily it didn't hurt that much. But I feel so bad. He is going to have a bald spot on the back of his head now where the cut was. I don't know what I can do to make it up to him. I apologize once every hour, and ask him if he needs anything. Yet I feel like I ruined him, a little part....on the back of his head.

You have learned an important lesson early in your life. You can hurt people unintentionally and you can't change the past. You can change how you react to people when they upset you in the future. This was a mistake. Learn from it. Talk to your brother and let him know you didn't mean to hurt him and feel bad that you did. Remember this whenever you get very angry and want to act on that anger. You're a very caring, smart person and show honor in accepting responsibility. Show your love for your brother and family and this will be a lesson worth learning! Good Luck!

I would be worried about you if you didn't feel bad about what you did. But obviously you love your brother and feel terribly bad about hurting him. That shows you are a good human being and a good brother. Ask for his forgiveness. I'm sure he will give it to you. And then forgive yourself and try very hard to keep your anger under control the next time you get into a situation where you feel like hitting or pushing someone. Again, just tell him you are sorry and you love him and you won't ever hurt him again. You will grow up to be close brothers.

I have 4 little brothers and we were always doing stuff to each other. I have hurt them as well as them hurting me. Part of it is growing up and realizing that is not how life should be. My brothers and I are really close and as you get older I can pretty well say you and your brother will be too. Just be really nice from now on though.

You can make it up to him by always being nice to him and treating him with love from now on. I really hope you learned your lesson.

IDK, but this is REALLY bad! If he understands, maybe he's learned a lesson... its TOTALLY not your fault, its his for being so annoying, and I think you did the right thing by teachin him a lesson. This way, you wont have to feel guilty again!
