My parents divorced when I was 5. They were only married for like a year. My dad left and I have not seen him since. My mom says he always paid child support but me and my sister haven't seen him since. My mom wont tell me where he is. Should I try to find him? I'm 18.

I'm not talking about a needy, clingy man who sends you flowers every day and calls every 15 minutes. I'm talking about a true gentleman . . . confident, honest, healthy, respectful, successful, and romantic. Men like that have been all but banished in American society, because most women see them as being "boring", and go out of their way to hurt them and take them for granted.

Chivalry? Forget about it. If you open a door for a woman, she'll slap your face. Grab a woman that you don't even know and slap her on the backside? She'll think you're the sexiest bad boy alive.

Then women whine about how they can't find a good man. A bit hypocritical, don't you think?

I know this girl and she is sexy. Her face is drop dead gorgeous, but she is fat. A usually date women who are slim or average size. I never dated a girl who was bigger than me. When I see her somehow I still am turned on by her. My friends say that Im turning into a chubby chaser, but I actually really want to ask her out. She dresses really good and she always has her eye make up done really sexy around her eyes. We laugh and crack jokes every time I see her and I know Im not the only one because a couple of other people who said they know her thought she looked good too for a vuluptuos woman. I've noticed that in Southern California there seems to be an abundance of young attractive Asian women coupled with White men- not that there's anything wrong with that, racial harmony and assimilation is a beautiful thing- but I'm just curious as to what the motives are behind it all. After all, you don't see nearly as many White women dating Asian men so there is clearly a choice being made by Asian women- or by White men- to NOT date someone of their own ethnicity.
More specifically, the issue I'm trying to explore here is whether or not many of the young Asian women in the Southern California area are suffering from some sort of identity issues concerning their own ethnicity; or if this generation of second-generation Asian-American women have developed some sort of self-loathing for the men of their own community because they have been influenced by the negative portrayals of Asian men in
American media and the derogatory sterotypes that may be propagated by many.

im having some problems at home, with my mom and her soon to be ex-husband, the man i hate most MY step-dad aka, the no good dirty rotten worthless cheating son of a monkey's uncle(his mom is awsome, ill show her respect) i told my bf, and he understands but lately i havent been as open with him i never get to see him so i can only comfort him over the phone, same with him "comforting" me but i told him its like im fighting a war with my emotions and family strain isnt helping and i didnt want to lie to him so he got the cold hard truth, which i didnt want to tell him, right now im not letting anyone close to me, or my heart i even pushed my best friend of 6 years away along with everyone i have no one to trust and im locking everyone out of my emotions and heart for now until this is settled inside me(i know it sounds crummy) and he told me the truth after i asked him to tell me, he was mostly scared of getting locked out and me not letting him come back I’ve told him that but he still seems worried like the other night I was in a personal chat room with him his cousin and our friend, well my sister being the brat she is pressed something and the computer shut down after I rebooted it his cousin started nailing me with things like ” y did u leave, u didnt say goodbye, JC is really worried, he was about to call u” so on so forth well I asked her y he was so scared and she told me that he thought that something had happened, anyways right now I am SO scared of losing him I cant stand it anymore, what can I do to help myself trust ppl again, I so afraid of someone getting hurt by whats going on in MY life

If your spouse is a stubborn person and thinks that he is always right at what he is doing (when most of the time, people complain that he is not easy to work with). And if he is not at all socializing when you are an extrovert and like to meet & mngle with people. And if you do, then he shows an dislike or taunts upon your getting 'spoilt' if you meet people....

How do you handle such a spouse without getting frustrated or without having to end up in a divorce ?

I have an idiot for a biological father, who never paid a dime, my mother never asked him, because she just wanted him out of her life and her childrens.. for that I am grateful..but I can't help but wonder if this is something a person should forget, or a person should go after, I am not a money hungry person, but after having a family of my own, I can't imagine a father not taking responsibility for his own children...I feel like my mother was not in a good place back then, she just wanted out, and I don't blame her,but I can't help but feel that this man who fathered 3 daughters should be able to go through life never having to be responsible, I have often felt unworthy of certain things in life, and I can't help but wonder if some or much wasn't to do with having a dead beat dad...if there are any lawyers out there that could offer advice, I would certainly appreciate it.... and any support, or suggestions from anyone would be great.. Is it greedy to want my dead beat dad to pay..

Why do most women prefer dating men that treat them like their personal possession these days?

Yes, I am basing this on past experiences. I go on one date with a woman and that's usually it. They seem interested, I play my cards right, but havent' dated anyone consistently for a few years now.

Ladies, what is it you want? Seriously? Im 26....am I supposed to compromise my dignity to become that Italian asshole you dream of? What's missing here?

I don't even know how to have fun anymore. I have tis very serious outlook on life. When I was younger I was very disciplined & mature. I stilll am. As a result my parents tend 2 neglect me, b/c they were always busy workin hard. I always felt like I had to prove myself by gettin excellent grades in school, & sometimes I felt like I was not worthy of love or happiness...like I was not good enough. Bein such a serious person & always feelin the need to climb the mountain to get to the top, I would always be workin long &hard, never stoppin to take a break. I kept goin I had the strength. And then when I finally stop there's no one around...they're there but I'm visible to them[my family]. I don't even know what I am workin towards. Well u know, a good career and well-off life. I don't know. When u are so busy workin, you don't think about it. Somehow, I end up feelinglonely even when my family is there. I'm so withdrawn, and serious. I have forgotten how to be a kid, & I'm 16.
