I'm not talking about a needy, clingy man who sends you flowers every day and calls every 15 minutes. I'm talking about a true gentleman . . . confident, honest, healthy, respectful, successful, and romantic. Men like that have been all but banished in American society, because most women see them as being "boring", and go out of their way to hurt them and take them for granted.

Chivalry? Forget about it. If you open a door for a woman, she'll slap your face. Grab a woman that you don't even know and slap her on the backside? She'll think you're the sexiest bad boy alive.

Then women whine about how they can't find a good man. A bit hypocritical, don't you think?

Here's what has happened:

Women have become much more aggressive, far less "ladylike." For example, compare your grandmother (or even mother, depending on your age) to the average young woman today in terms of "ladylike" characteristics (softness, that is non-aggressiveness in demeanor, dress, speech, attitude).

For example, many female drivers are now very aggressive and will "cuss" you out easily.

Still, women prefer a gender separation. They want the man to be more manly than they are.

So, now that they are less "girly" and comparatively more "manly" in their demeanor, they need the man to be even MORE masculine and rougher to maintain the gender separation.

Thus, only the hard-nosed, loud talking, bad boy type seems (in comparison to the now less feminine woman of today) to be sufficiently masculine to maintain the gender separation.

So, the moderate, classic gentleman that you might think would be most desired seems like a "wimp" in comparison. Some women think him to be too soft.

The moderate gentleman only gets a second look after the woman has been burned by the bad boy.

That's the bed we've made, unfortunately.

Cause some women don't realize the special gentleman that they have in their hands. They may be use to the cheating, controlling, gangsta, violent type that they are attratced to. Maybe it the appearance on the outside that they are attracted the most to and not trying to see what type of person they are on the inside. THey take their kindness for granted. Many gentlemen are attracted to the wrong type of women as well it is all ways about the looks to them and not what is on the inside. Then when they get mistreated and hurt then they wonder why. First they need to open their eyes and really look at the women that they are choosing to be with just cause she has a nice shape, fine does not mean she will treat you like the KING you expect to be treated. Like they say you can not turn a o into a house wife just can't do it she is set in her ways only it is either her way or no way at all. So gentlemen make the wrong choices as far as picking the right woman to be with. It goes both ways. Some women if they see the opportunity to get what they can outta that gentlman and he opens himself up to her she will take advantage of him so it is his fault at times for going for the beauty and not what is on the inside. I know one thing if I ever come acroos a gentleman like this I am not going to let him go at all. PPSSST CALL ME HE!HE!

The reason there are so few real gentlemen left is simply because it has gotten so difficult to be a gentleman. Girls tend to watch a lot of movies that have perfect men in them, but it's hard for a man to live up to that standard. If a man makes himself look like the exact opposite of a perfect gentleman then he won't be compared to one.
