I was writing in my diary and i was thinking of a boy that I like that lives a couple houses away. Before i know it I was out the door and was meeting him half way to him house. When we got to his house right before he went inside i told him i liked him.

If i was that dude it doesn't really matter when or how that you say it, It's that you told him, If he likes you in any way, he'll be flattered.
