I'd be interested to know whether this is now regarded as a bit old-fashioned and the child would usually take the mother's name as the parents are not married. (Assuming the father and mother do live together, with the child - I don't mean a single parent situation). What are the pros and cons of the child taking either the father's or the mother's name?

i've been talking (email) to my ex's other ex gf and i asked how much she weighs cause i wanna know so i can feel better about how i look. see she i was trying to get back with him. when she found out him and i broke up she got back with him. she pretended to be my friend the whole time. well then she asked whats my cup size and she basically rubbed in that shes a double d.
so i wanna send this reply:

"lets just say i won't be a sagging mess which you already are. :) you remind me of a sumo wrestler. you have their face and body. and i do mean a male by the way. ew. no wonder why you're such a b*itch. and no wonder why you wanna go by "claire" instead of leigh. i guess you wanted to stop getting confused for a boy. you must get weird looks now though. i'm just being honest, dear. i hate lying to people so i NEVER lie to anyone. well i hope you have a nice day and i even mean that cause i'm a sweet person. hopefully one day you'll learn to be one too."

Hi, is there any1 who can tell me what to do to find a woman, since i moved to england im stragling to find a woman, well i dont drink so i avoid the pubs and clubs and i guess thats the best place to meet a girls in this country bcz where i use to live in diff mediterranians countries peoples spend more times out than close places bcz of weather .
well if any woman or or man has the same problem maybe could give me an advise, by the way im 33.

my bf keeps deleting my password for the computer. we r both administrations so he can just go in a remove it. the question is why? he is the one who has a history of cheating. he tells me he loves me and trusts me but he keeps doing. i dont personally care if its password protected or not i just wanted to see if he would actually do it. someone help me :(

So, I spoke to my husband yesterday morning and he told me he was working until 5, then shopping, then he would come home to talk and then was going bowling with co-workers. I have no problem with this but when I called at 8pm and he wasn't home and no one knew where he was, I got worried. I figured by 12am, if he was hurt, the hospital would call his family, and his family would call me. I spoke to his family members at about 12am and they still didn't know where he was.

I go to bed and he calls me at 2:30am telling me he went out with his co-workers right after work. Should he have called me to let me know the change in plans? Should he appoligize for not calling? Or should he yell at me and tell me to stop bitching at him while I was worried ALL NIGHT?

By the way, we live in different countries, and by talk, I mean online or on the phone.

ok! i like this boy a lot. everybody says he likes me back. i dont know. but lets say he does. lets say he asks me out.
there are reasons to say yes, and reasons to say no.
yes: because we like each other and we would make a cute couple
no: because my friend and i both liked him. she says shes completely over him and that i should go for it. but i think it would be selfish of me

*IF* he likes me back and asks me out, should i say yes, believe my friend? or should i say no, just incase shes not over him?

Is it so wrong that I want the best for my wife. When we got engaged I spent 6000 dollars on the engaement ring. She said she would be happy with a diamonique some knock off ring. I am divorcing my husband and will marry the guy i met online. My sister is seeing the guy she met online too but she is confused about her feelings. Her husband is very depressed and told his mum about their marriage problem. The mother in law called blaming me for being a bad elder sister. She said i should have told my sister to stop chatting with the guy and should work hard to keep my family intact. I responded by saying that i will talk to my sister and her husband but the mother in law told me never to tell them that she called and i should bear in mind that they were hurt too much when they heard about my shaky marriage 2 years ago. Now that their son and my sister is facing the same problems she cant think what to do but tell me that i should think again what i have done. Am i to blame if my sister leaves her husband? I have been persuading my sister not to follow my footsteps. Should i stay with my husband so my younger sister will do the right thing? Im 42, sister is 36
