my girlfriends ex boyfriend is constantly texting and talking ot my gf, telling her how much he likes her and what not.. she see's it as harmless.. i wanna kill him lol..
he's extremely built cos his dad is a weightlifter.. so i cant confront him in... for common sense purposes..
how do i tell the gf that it's hurtful to me.. every time i try to , she tells me that he is still her friend and nothing will happen, but i know that her ex will always secretly and harmlessly try to get in about..

Has anyone out there had any experiences with their husband/boyfriend/fiance leaving them because their mom does not like the girl or the girl does not like his mother. My fiances mother is very controlling, nosy, loves to gossip and she and fiance both admit he is a mamas boy and that she is his best friend and all that crap, and lately i cannot stand it--she knows all our business and does not stop---my fiance thinks that this is ok, never takes my side against her, never stands up to her for himself or me, and i cannot stand this. I think that if i do not start being able to deal with it, he will leave me. How do i cope if he leaves me for his mother? I often feel like he is dating her and that her opinion counts more than mine! I know this is dysfunctional but how do i make him see this? I don't know what to do and my engagement will be ending if this is not solved? Do i really make him choose, because i heard you are not supposed to, and i get the feeling that i will lose!

I had developed a crush on a woman at work who started a month before me.She never knew how I felt until May of 06, when she asked me about dinner one night.I totally slipped up throwing all my cards on the table.I knew she was married, yet later learned that her marriage has been falling apart for 3 years.One night after weeks of talking regularly she expressed an interest.I had always dreamt of this moment and now it was reality! I am 24 years old and still single. I feel love is never going to happen to me. Does anybody else feel like that sometimes. well I feel like that all the time and I hate feeling this way. Last night i had a friend sleep over and I was just about to fall asleep when this thought popped into my mind... y do we sleep?? Its rele wierd how the whole thing works... our body kinda shuts down but everything still working. We lay there for hours without eating or going to the bathroom, and we are kinda lost in our own little world. And we do alot of strange stuff like sleep walk or sleep talk. We dream, and the whole thing just seems so real. And we meet people in our dreams that we have never seen before in our lives... I just found out that I am going back to my old school. I haven't been there for a year. So I am a little bit worried about what other people will think. I dated her for a year and a half, and in the end it was misery in many ways...the fighting, her insecurity, her comparing me to another guy from back when. But since then, I've never been even close to comfortable around any others and even now, nearly a year and a half later, I miss her a lot and think of her sometimes. I don't regret the end of "us," but I DO miss the warmth of the companionship. So I'm just curious (not dwelling), but was she "the one?" Did I miss her forever? Or will something else make things seem different? Or is finding someone like that more common than it seems?

I live in a country where polygamy/polagamy is still technically illegal but the law is not being enforced (based on our Supreme Court's rulings of the last 20 years it is thought that the polygamy/polagamy ban would be thrown out if challenged). The recent fuss in the USA got me to thinking: what is the rationale of prosecuting a guy who actually wants to commit with more than one wife and support them and all the kids responsibly while a guy who just has multiple intimate girlfriends he spreads his seed into is commiting no felony? Is that not illogical?

Another thought: what happens in the USA when a polygamous political leader from countries allowing it comes calling? Do they usually bring more than one wife which the Bushies quietly accept?
