I don't!!! Were depending on technology too much, I researched, 51.7 million divorces happen every year in the world because of online dating. It's too risky!

It worked for me too, I would rather meet someone online than in a bar!!!! And I don't think that all of those divorces happen specifically because of online dating, there has to be way more to it than that!

You know I hear online dating is risky, but sit and think about it.. Where else do you meet people? At the market? The club, at the park? Whats the difference? They are still starngers, You get to know them by talking to them right?

It is the same thing you do when you meet someone online. I think the deeper issue is that society is stuck on this online dating is bad. Yes in some cases it is, in others is not. I known peopel who met online got married and are happy. I also know people who met freaks online. But as with anything else freaks are everywhere and just loking to meet you where ever.

It all boils down to a matter of preference, you either like online dating or you dont and thats the beauty of America you are free to choose. So if you dont like online dating then dont use it and let others do what they prefer and dont post stupid statistics that most of the times are not accurate.

There are 300 million people in the US , do you really think they polled everyone to find out if they online dated and if their marrieage failed or is working? People who meet and marriage as High School sweethearts , marriages also fail.. anyway you should get my point by now....

Well...that means that your too narrow minded. Techology is advancing our world and some of the best couples were made because of online dating. It's just a way to meet people..and if you meet someone worth keeping online..why not try...it's just a try..nothing bad can happen from it. For the smart people..and the reason there's so many divorces is because people are dumb and want to get married so bad...they dont even try to get to know the other person well enough...

See I never used to believe in that sort of thing myself but met the guy I'm seeing through here, well kinda. Knew of each other a few years back throughout friends of friends but never actually spoke to each other and that. Later on met up after chatting online and turned out to be great, so far so good.

It is not relevant. We are just given a different option but I don't believe it is the main cause. Divorce rates are just high even before when online dating is not yet a boom. It is a moral and personal issue.

Well, if women were to give all guys a chance, and would stop trying to change their partners into something they are not, things could change quite a bit.

I always get the married women chasing me, rather than the single ones. It sucks that it takes being married for them to figure out what they really want in a relationship...

I TOTALLY agree with you online dating is risky because you don't really know who you are dealing with. Meeting someone new in person is better. Or someone who is "your best friend" will probably end up being the one for you!

I doubt that online dating is the cause of all of the divorces in our society. The changes in our society and our new lifestyles are what are causing the divorces. I'm all about online dating. It's no different than meeting someone in a club or whereever.

your wrong i met a few good guys on line and i get along with them great because we didn't judge each other on looks. I was afraid the first time i tried it but was getting no where with the jerks that i kept meeting in my social enviorment. But it turned out not to be as bad as i thought cause I'm talking to someone now and we have great chemistry and he treats me so good. I have never been treated like that before.
