Maybe she likes feeling that closeness just a bit more. Some women like the sensation they get when their man is in them even after the "work" is done.

Maybe yuor other girlfriends didn't care as much or maybe this girl doesn't feel secure in your relationship, because I can't speak for all women but I like to at LEAST lay close and enjoy the come down. If someone were to get up right away if there was no reason to I WOULD wonder a litlle.

Most women, not all, but most enjoy not just foreplay, but also afterplay. For women, the satisfaction is not just getting off, they still feel sexy after it and like to carry it on with being held, it is for them still part of the sexual act and it helps strengthen the bond with her too.
If it's wham bam thank you mam, and you're off, you may as well get yourself a blow up doll and get it over with.

This depends, does she reach orgasam as well? If so it most likely just feels really good for you to remain inside her, or she doesn't like the sensations you create by pulling out while she's still really sensitive.
Even if she doesn't reach orgasam during sex, she might just enjoy the throbbing of your member post ejaulate inside her.
If it bothers you, or you really are curious, why not just ask her? I bet her answer would be more accurate than any thing any of us could ponder up.

Think how you would feel if, after she has come, she says, "That's it get off" . The afterplay is as important as foreplay in sex, especially for women.
Try this. Tell her how nice she is, how she makes you feel great and you wish that you could feel like you do now, all day. (I know you're knackered but don't let her know that). Run your fingers down the side of her neck and around her nipples without actually touching them. KEEP YOUR WEIGHT OF HER and wriggle around a bit, look at her and make sure she knows that you are, and smile a lot.
You never know, she may wind you up for sloppy seconds.

I don't think its unusual. I personally like that myself at times, creates a closer feeling, connection I suppose. If a guy is in a hurry to get out and move away, its kinda worrying :P

Reach around, find the inflation apparatus, and flip it open. This will release some of the pressure from your "girlfriend" and you will be able to dislodge. Next time, don't blow her up quite so full.
