I recently got out of a bad 4 year relationship. Im currently in a new one but I keep finding myself at a loss for the previous one. I know I'm over her but I still feel like there wasn't proper closure. We broke up on good terms and we were really good friends until her new boyfriend found out that I am the "ex" and made her choose between being my friend or being with him. Well she chose him and we stopped being friends. Now that I'm with someone new, I tried contacting her but she took as if I'm not over her or that I'm stalking her. Am I being stubborn or should I just let her go as a friend forever???

I connected with an old friend from high school two weeks ago. We have had really great conversations but she is taking it way too far and too seriously. I think she is convinced I am the one after only two weeks of talking and one visit. I don't want to hurt her at all, but I also need her to know I don't have romantic feelings for her...and it's Christmas time. I can't string her along until after Christmas because it's not fair but I don't want to destroy her and ruin her Christmas too.

I'm completing my mba while he doesn't have a first degree. He talks well, and say's he 'doesn't need a recipe book to cook in life', that is, he doesn't need to attend formal college, but has a business mind, can network well, and work in a commission based freelance environment.

I'm scared, as I don't know if such a person would be work hard and take care of 'our family' in the long run.

Any ideas/suggestions please..

Aren't really close. I mean, shes a great mom, like, she is nice, takes care of me, and everything, and is never abusive, and I am an okay kid, I don't do drugs, I'm good in school....well and we barely ever fight.....
Well we aren't close for some reason. I don't feel comfortable with her mosta the time...even though I am 12, and I have been with her for 12 years....(my whole life)
I don't get why we aren't close.
Does anyone have any suggestions why we might not be such a mother/daughter pair?

ok so my best friend is going out with one of my old friends, i set them up and hes a great guy. were family friends so he comes over alot. i tell my friend this though and she says its ok. but last night at my familys christmas party we were in my room alone and it was kind of cold.. so we started cuddling. i'm not sure what this means. me and him love eachother, but not like that we've just known eachother for sooo long. i havent told my best friend. i'm not sure what it means. i mean we were just talking and he had his arm around me resting on my leg. just keeping me warm? i don't know. i diddent think much of it at the time but i look back on it and i'm not sure what it really ment. i looooove my best friend and i dont want her to think i was betraying her. i wasent... i mean we diddent kiss or anything this has never happend before eather. im not sure..

We live in an apt and the people above us constantly make noise ie:loud music, talking, walking around all night etc..he thinks i am making a big deal of it but it wakes both my son and i up. is this weird, when i go out, i get alot of men in my age, and in there 20s coming on to me. but im not intrested . i prefer men who are alot older than me . my friends tell me that old men are disgusting and there all perverts. i think being with men in there 40s, and 50s are gorgeous. and i like men in there 60s too. i dont know what it is about older men. is anyone else like me

I love this guy and he loves me back. Though just last night he came out and told me the truth that he loves another girl too but he chooses me over her. i can't but help to think that his so called love for me is fake, or that he isnt loving me like i love him. I met my ex off the internet, it wasn't on one of those dating things or whatever. It actually was in yahoo games lol it wasn't even on purpose.
