I met my ex off the internet, it wasn't on one of those dating things or whatever. It actually was in yahoo games lol it wasn't even on purpose. It turned out he lived five mins away from me and I knew his cousin and some of his friends. We fell inlove or whatever that was the past. Do you think that relationships off the internet are someway stronger then relationships where you met through friends or something. Give me your feelings on this.

What I like about an internet relationship is the way they can insult you so the whole world can see.

I met my ex off Yahoo messanger not on purpose either. He lived in a different state we ended up meeting with my family there of course, never alone, and we were together for 3 years and it was an awesome relationship. We ended on good terms but he went to college and I didnt want to live in that state anymore. But yes I think it could work. We didn't meet until like 4 months after we had talked on the phone and stuff. So I dont reccommend jumping right on a plane and meeting someone thats not safe. Would I ever try to meet someone that way again? No, never. But I had a good feeling about that one and it worked out.

I think people are taking an awfully big risk when they meet someone on the internet. The person they meet could be a murderer, rapist, or pedaphile. In your case, you two were okay because you knew part of his family and his friends, but the guy you met could have been lying about that and when you met in person something dangerous could have resulted from it. I'm glad nothing like this happened, however, but it does happen to a lot of people no matter how smart they be.
I think relashionships reesulting from real life are better, because you know at least who they are when you meet them.
But that is just my opinion. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

I don't think their any stronger but I also don't think their any less and maybe a little better because you get the chance to preview that person before you actually meet :) :) :)

its really no different than meeting someone at a bar or whatever. If they are right for you, they are right for you.
