If so did you ever see them again? Or have you done this to anyone yourself? And why?

I haven't heard from my now ex in 2 weeks since I was on vacation Dec 12-15th and when I came back I haven't heard since the 12th. However, I did find out that he was locked up and got out on dec 20th. But this not the first time this happened one time I didn't hear from him for a week and a half I found out he had a nervous breakdown. And was mad at me for tracking him down. So now I am doing a d@mn thing. I am just very angry.

Me i think its cowardly unless the person has threatened to physically harm you if you leave them. I told my ex many times if you want to leave then theres the door don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you. Everytime he said he wanted me back.

No it has never been done to me but i have done it to someone,

The relationship was just sour and i was never happy. I was living with the person and every time i would try to talk they would walk away. There was no comunication and if i tried to break up with them to there face they would break down and cry and say a bunch of sad things to me and would say nice things at the same time wich would make me second guese myself. Finnally i realized i was just not happy and since i could not end it to there face because they would go a litle crazy, I just rented a moving truck one weekday left for work in the morning but then called out of work and once the signifcant other left for work me and a friend moved all my stuff out and to a differant appartment that i had secretly set up without them knowing.

Sometimes its just better to leave it like that. Even though you feel empty right now i can assure you its the best thing for you because regardless of the reason they left you, the fact of the matter is no matter what you did they were going to be unhappy in the relationship. wether if you knew it or not. The only and best advice i can give you is don't take someone back that does that to you because your relationship with them will always have that there and most likely with the case for you and that same person it will happen again. People click differently towards other people. You will find someone that works better for you and will make you even happier because you know the love is truly there for love not other selfish reasons!
Hope that helps.

Yes. And it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I found out later that he was smoking crack. I swear to god! And he was a very successful pharmacist. No one would have ever known. I saw he got arrested in the paper for crack possesion. Thank god he walked out when he did. At the time it seemed devestating because I just didn't know why. It was the best thing that he could have done.

My best friend had to walk out on his wife about 2 months ago. She needed psychological help becasue she couldn't have a baby but she refused. She got worse and worse, always refusing to get help, until there was nothing he could do. He tried so hard to help her but she wouldn't do anything to fix the problem. Everything in their lives suffered becuase of it and finally he had to leave. It sounds hard and cold, but he had tried everything. Remember, there are always two sides to every story. Perhaps when people leave like that they have finally reached the end of their rope like my friend, and they feel like there is nothing else they can do. Perhaps they feel like to save their own lives they have to leave. It's never fair and there is no right answer.

A person that does something like this is not worth you worrying about. They have only one person's interest in mind THEIR OWN. You are worth more than that. Find someone that truly cares for you and is a giving person. You deserve to be with sombody who treats you like you are special. In fact, YOU are SPECIAL, GOD made YOU!! Have a great Christmas with friends and family.
