Family & Relationships - 4 December 2006

I'm not usually prone to "poor me" fests, but I'm having a doozy tonight. I feel bad for my husband. He works so hard, doing a job that he hates in order to support us. This was supposed to be a side job, just to get us through some tough times while his other business was going slow, but it's kind of consuming his life right now. In doing so, he's risked his real career in the process. He isn't happy, and I feel really bad about it. Like it's my fault.
When we got married I gave up my business to move where he lived, and had to try and start over. It's just not been that easy, and I've recently had to change careers as well, which the new one isn't making any money yet. So, he's stuck paying all the bills.

Tonight I was looking for a video to watch and I came across a tape of him and his friends from before he and I were together. He was really happy. I've never seen him like that before. I feel like he would be better off without me to worry about. What do I do? What do I say?

There is this girl at my school that i used to be good friends with. We stopped talking last year (don't know why) but now we are talking to each other again. Then today she sneaks up behind me and hugs me in the hallway and says "hey" really cheerfully. Then after school ended today I said hi to her before i left and she told me to come here, she kinda grabbed onto me and hugged me again. I've always wanted to go out with my previous manager. As long as we were working together we did not talk about going out and stuffs like that. But there was always chemistry between us. When i left my workplace because of a better job we still were in touch and even he came to my place once and was ready to make love with me but i was not prepared for it on that night!! and now he always asks me when we can make love! He is not my manager anymore and i am still interested in him although i know that we can't build a relationship at least for now.. okay well i had initially bought a lighter for my boyfriend for christmas and had it engraved "Nick- forever and ever baby -Mandy" but then i got a letter saying that i wouldnt get it in cause of some money problem so then i ordered a pocket knife a little later with the same engraving and today the lighter came in! so im gonna be stuck with two gifts with the same engraving. im trying to think of what to say when i give it to him or how to give it to him. im trying to be orignal so i was thinking maybe put the knife and lighter and maybe something else together like a survival package or something? two gifts with the same engraving...ahhh...please help!! im trying to be original giving it to him, wondering what to say for it to make sense. thanks and have a good night.

What exactly goes in his mind? What if you dont know the guy at all, and you barely see him around school? Does the guy at least think you're attractive? or hideous? And I mean staring at the face, not body (well I think/hope.)
By the way, what usually happens is I notice someone looking at me, then I look at that person. He does not avert his gaze.
We made eye contact about 5 seconds long twice before, and we never talked.

The other day, we were in a highly crowded hallway with 38720934723 people and he just kept on staring at me, and then I just looked at him back. I guess he finds me familiar looking.

He's 2 years older, so I don't know if I have a chance with him.
