is there a difference in interest or crush because my friend told me a girl "was" interested in me but never liked me(never had a crush on me) and please give a precise answer, you might get best answer(at least a paragraph long) please..

Yes, there is a difference between being interested and having a crush on someone. I have a crush on most women that are thin/skinny and older well dressed women. A crush is similar to lust, and if I look at it I do lust after thin/skinny women. I know that I can't have these women cause their taken and I would never say I had a crush on them, but most likely tell them how nice they looked. In a sense having a crush on them is being interested in them only for my lustful desire for them. On the contrary being interested in someone has mostly to do with their way of life and how they conduct their selves in public and that can be male or female. I can be interested in a prostitute by wondering how she got involve in doing that, why she continues to do that, and if she would ever want to stop and why, so just because I'm interested in her doesn't mean I have a crush on her. I live in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia and I'm interested in the mountain people here, how they survive the winters and just the daily life of not living society standards (I know why, but thats just an example). You can be interested in anybody that you might like to know more about their life and just because your interested doesn't mean sexual! Most likely she seen something in you that she was interested in, but wouldn't want you for a boyfriend. I've have women interested in me, but thats all the farther it went...and thats all good in my sight.

Interest and crush are two very different things. Interest (according to me) is when someone realizes you are attractive in some way or another and is considering liking you. A crush begins when someone suddenly realizes that they like you. Interest usually lasts longer than crushes. (I think) When a person likes you it usually lasts longer. You have week long or month long crushes on various people. If a girl had "interest" in you she probably was thinking about you more than usual, but less than a crush. If they had a crush, they actually liked you for a certain amount of time. If someone had an interest in you they were considering but never actually liked you. hope this helps!!!

lol, what the heck! If your interested in someone that means you want to get to know them. If you have a crush on them that means you like them because of a certain reason. When you said that your friend said that she never had a crush on you she was just interested in you, she just wants to get to know you and see if you could be a boyfriend but, be careful she could want to use you. When ever someone says they don't like you but, there interested in you that usually means that their interested in sex depending on how old you are. Don't believe that she wants to use you she likes you. We, as girls are confusing to understand because we always have our emotions in a bunch.
