i have no idea but i hope that one day i will find out why! it really bothers me.
maybe its because they don't know if you really like them or not and they don't want to be embarrassed

The reason boys do not tell people how they are feeling is because one they were taught by their fathers who learned from their fathers and on an on since the begining of time that emotions are for the woman and children. The second reason is because it is not very masculine to show emotions, most woman want a strong man not a cry baby. And if a guy shows his feelings all of his friends will call him a girl a make fun of him for the rest of his life.

I'd like to ask this same question about the girls I date.
It's this modern dishonest liars world we live in today. We don't tell the other person because we have been told by society that by telling you the truth you will lose interest. And it's true too. You heard it from society that you will lose interest, so you do lose interest. When I share my feelings with a girl she almost always backs off.

boys are taught not to cry,not to talk unless its about football or girls but there not all like that.maybe you should ask a few of your friends that are boys and you will understand a bit more.girls dont always say how they feel and sometimes the boy or girl is scared of being ridiculed or hurt or embarresed.

The majourity of boys are uncertain of themselves and don't have the same ability to communicate as girls do. They would rather bottle stuff up and then tell all when they feel its no longer possible to keep it to themselves.

some /most boys aren't comfortable with their feelings and emotions and have problems describing them due to feeling inadequate and with possiblity that it may show a vulnerable side of them, it gets worse the older they get believe me some days there are things i long to tell but just can't get my head around

I'm always telling my girlfriend how I feel about her. I don't care whether I appear like a wimp to some people if I cry sometimes either! Worrying about what other people think of you is actually pointless. Who cares what other people think!!

Because they are "boys" and no matter how cool they act.......they don't know how they feel. No worries though, we get better with age, just give it a few years.

the to cool for school boys don't, but as boys become more comfortable with their sexuality and who they are this will change, every man i know talks about feelings.

because of a couple reasons:
1. girls really don't want to know. they think they do, but once they find out the mystery is gone and they get disappointed/disinterested.
2. guys may not know how you feel, so if they but themselves out on a ledge, they feel stupid if you claim you just want to be friends.
