There's this guy that I just barely met, and we don't talk at all, we just know each other's names. I told my guy friend (they both know each other well) that I thought the guy was hot, and then he told him! Well now I notice him giving me intense eye contact whenever he walks pass me. And when I look at him, he'll just continue staring. However, on some days, he'll pretend that I don't exist. So do you think he doesn't like me?

My Mother suffered with ALS (lou gehrigs disease) for 3 years & passed away a year ago this month.
I am having a terrible time with this anniversary.
Any advice as to how I can cope better?

Im seriously concerned about the level of unintelligible english that our kids of today are exhibiting. My 14 year old can spell but it's gotten past a joke with all the abbreviated computer jargon. Waz sup wif dem spll'n lyk spaztic dum azs coz i paid 4dem2 lrn blah blah blah blah blah................. Is the english language going to become instinct, Im worried that when I hit 80 and my children write me an email, that I may need some decoding book just to get past the greeting. Please take a look at this classic example I stumbled on in yahoo answers which led me to ask this question, you will be amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think about this?
Today, this girl at school told me I was hot, and she wanted to go out with me. I know I should be glad, but I barely know her. This disturbs me that people just want to date people because of their looks. Just because she finds me attractive, doens't mean I'm a good person, but I am. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, but it is starting to bother me.

You know the show offs get all the freakin attention and i have everything muscles,abs,good looks, athletic, smart. and people still dont notice me. its not even that even if i do get noticed its by girls who are unattrative. On the day how many of the guests do the couple actually manage to speak to personally?

I think it is very true that good girls go for bad guys and all of the good guys are left to suffer. Why is it so difficult for girls to recognize when a guy is a jerk? I have seen way too many questions on here that ask "should I be with this guy...?" NO! If you have to ask, he's a jerk! Go take a chance on that sweet shy guy who's "just a friend." Girls just aren't patient enough to wait for the right guy, so they are forced to settle for the jerks. This is why girls think all guys are jerks; because those are the only guys you settle for.

I was hanging out with this guy and we ended up sleeping together...and he constantly told me how much he liked me and was sooooo sweet and caring. We spent a week straight together...and then suddnely he wanted tos low down, which was fine, I thought we were kind of going too fast anyway, but I really really liked him.We didn't really spend time together after that, but we talked a lot. Then a couple weeks later I found out he got back together w/ his ex who cheated on him and he didn't even have the decency to tell me. It broke my heart. I haven't talked to him since. I just can't believe he would use me like this. How can someone say the things he said & then do this? Am I stupid to miss him? And did he just use me or what? I just feel so stupid...and it hurts because I don't just sleep with anyone. I take sex seriously and he knew that.

Hey Guys!

I got with my girlfriend maybe 1 week and 3 days ago. (in 15 and in High School.) I feel like I am making all the moves. Much likes some other posts we don't really hold hands that much. We talk when we are with eachother, but I mean not nearly as much as we should... being the guy... what do you think I should do? Should I tell her, we are not talking enough... I am kidna always saying Hello, or always saying goodbye. She never really helps me out if you know what I mean. Like, she has never said "Hey!" to me, its mostly me saying "Hey!" to her. Not that she doesn't say "Hey" back but you know...

I am just wondering what I should do. Should I just GO with her at recess and stuff, even if it feels REALLY uncomfortable? To summerize... I kinda feel like I am making most the moves and she isnt really helping me out with the whole GF/BF thing...

with someone to get over someone that you cant keep from begging to work things out with you, what to do to get over the person you are in love with how can you overcome the desperate feeling to call him all the time, to ask what his doing or who is he doing, to question him. i been married 2 him for 10yrs but things got ugly for about 4 mon and then i found a pampers receipts, so i left the house its now all 2gether 6mon of problems within me & him, but i cant live w/o him and he treats me shiety everytime i call him.so why cant i move on i dont need him right?? why do i keep putting myself in this position obviously talking to him doesnt work i always end up questioning him. it tears me apart thinking he is w/someone else & wont admit it, i have even kneeled down for him to confess and till this day he says no. i dont know if is my mind playing tricks on me or just the plain truth that i wont accept.

Normally I'm very secure in the fact that I'm single. In fact I love it, and I have loved it for pretty much ever! But now it seems like everyone is dating, or crushing or being crushed ON. And it's starting to bring me down, I don't know why suddenly I could feel this way when I've been so secure about it for so long.
