There's this guy that I just barely met, and we don't talk at all, we just know each other's names. I told my guy friend (they both know each other well) that I thought the guy was hot, and then he told him! Well now I notice him giving me intense eye contact whenever he walks pass me. And when I look at him, he'll just continue staring. However, on some days, he'll pretend that I don't exist. So do you think he doesn't like me?

ok, im a very shy guy and i do exactly those things to a girl i like alot. and oddly enough im in the same perdiciment, only on the guy side.
ok so from personal exp.
1.stares but thats all.
2.avoids you if you have noticed him starring
*we noticed when you know*
3.when he knows you saw him he will squrm around for a moment makeing you think he was doing somthing else.
4. if you walk near him he will walk away fast, or avoid or gaze.

So go and talk to him, see if he is worth your affections. If he's starring it sounds like he's playing games. Or he is is just dense.

I would definetly say he likes you but he's embarrassed and doesnt know you well enough to talk to you.

I think he likes you, but embarresed a little because he doesnt want you to know that you like him.

betcha he's totally shy and can't take things to the next level---like talking--he probably does like you, but he can't get anything to come out of his mouth...
