What do you think about this?
Today, this girl at school told me I was hot, and she wanted to go out with me. I know I should be glad, but I barely know her. This disturbs me that people just want to date people because of their looks. Just because she finds me attractive, doens't mean I'm a good person, but I am. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, but it is starting to bother me.

If it makes you uncomfortable tell her no or tell her you want to get to know each other for a while before you consider yourselfs dating or boyfriend and girlfriend. That you just want to be friends first. If she says forget it. Then she wasn't good enough for you anyway and you didn't miss out on anything.

This is the first time that i have ever heard a guy say that it bothers him. There are some people who do just look at looks. Then there are some that don't. Me I want to be attracted to the person i'm dating. So looks do play a lot into it. Maybe she is just attracted to you and wants to get to know you. Do the same with her and if you find her to into looks move on.

Don't go out with girls like this, they are only going out with you for your looks. A girl will be awfully lucky though when she finds you, you sound like you have character and hotness! Wait for the girl who cares about your character more...this may mean you have to go for the nice girls...they will probably be too shy to approach a good lookin' guy who has women flocking him!
It is very disturbing though that ppl only want to date ppl for the looks, what happens when that person gets old and gray and dont' have their looks, pretty boring relationship then, eh?

You're obviously much much more mature them. All you need to do is find someone just as mature as you. Someone who will want to know you first before throwing themselves on you just because of how you look. This may be a bit harder since you're still in school (i am thinking still high school?) but you'll find someone who will appreciate you and not your looks only.

That's wierd. I think that people should know the person they decide to like. Be their friend, know about what they do, know how they act and just know the true person inside. I prefer to know who I am going out with. I also think that the more you know the person and the more you like them, the more beautiful they look. Who you like should be decided with your heart not your eyes.

well here let me tell you what its jus like dat. all any1 eva loks atis da persn's physical self but not da personal self. you can't change it. it bothers me too. if it truly bothers you alot, whoeva asks u out n dey don noe u, jus say wat u think n how much it bothers u. its gud 2 let out ur feelings den 2 keep dem inside. u don want dem 2 keep botherin u do u? wel i wudn't n i wud tel straightly how i feel. dere is notin more relieving den dat.
u can't change a person cuz its wat dey were destined 2 b n unless dey choose 2 change dereself. den dey can nvr change cuz u hav 2 desire 2 get somtin.
