I have a mother that is 'sick' in the head. She is overbearing and controlling. When I use to live with her, she would take her anger out on me and made me feel bad for arguing with her. She would say: "I've raised you, you un-grateful person" and then threaten to kick me out of the house. Power corrupts absolute power corrupt absolutely, so as you can see, she was 'always right'.

Anyways, one day she made one too many threat and abused her power one too many times. I pack-up my thinks and move out. Now I'm doing great and come home 'once in a while', I have the power to see her, she don't have the power to see me. She don't know where I live, I refuse to let her know.

Now she is trying to make me feel guilty for not sharing me life with her. She abused her power as a mother through out my childhood. So why should I be the proper son if she was not a proper mother. What are your thoughts?

This girl called my friends boyfriend saying lets be friends again he just got out of jail he was in there for 2 years she was his last girlfriend before he went in. This girl is married and pregnant. So why would she call an ex and tell him lets be friends again?

We used to date, and we really hit it off in the beginning. But I was also seeing someone else at the time, so I broke things off with him. He still loves me, not just because he says so, but I can see in the way he treats me and the things he says and does. He's older, and I know he'll always be emotionally and financially supportive and be a good father to my children.

The problem is, even though I know he's a good catch, I just don't feel attracted to him in that way. I've had several relationships that haven't worked out in the meantime, and he's always there to pick up the pieces, patiently waiting for me to settle down with him. I do care about his feelings, and I wouldn't want to hurt him. I know he wouldn't do anything to ever hurt me. But I just don't love him.

My mom says love can come later... is that true? Should I give it another try?

Recently, me and my best friend of 3 years have since gone our ways. I can't helped feeling betrayed because I was there for her anytime she needed, but she just left me in a heartbeat for some new friends. I like many other people, felt hurt and I began to hate her and she became nothing to me.
So the problem is, she recently tried to get in contact with me and I am not sure of what to do. I still fill betrayed but I am not sure if I should give her another chance.
I am really confused!
can you guys help me? some stories and insight would be so great!

my bf has 2 new born twins a 2 year old one one the way by some other girl and now a 16 year old neice he has to take care of because his brother died.i really like him but i really dont want to have to take care of all this he says he doesnt need any help but he has apsolutly no parenting skills.i really like him but thats just to much.were 21 he has a phd but he know absolutly nothing hes one of those people who are used to getting want they want because of there looks.and thats pretty much all he knows.

we're both still in highschool. Anyways we both go to the same school and are both involved in the same volunteer program. That's where i met her. Anyways i got to talking to her there one-day. then a few days later she separated from her friends, approached me and asked me what my name is cause for some reason we hadn't exchanged names before. i can easily talk to her and i think she is comfortable around me. when i see her she smiles and waves. Also the other day when we were at the program again she came over to me from her station and sat down and talked with me just out of the blue.also the other day i was talking to my friends and i made gestures that would appear to others as waving(i hadsn't thought about it before) and she made this huge wave to catch my attention and when she noticed, i gave her a slight wave back it was then she realized i wasn't waving to her originally cause i continued the hand gestures, and her friends started giggling and and she seemed overwhelmed

It is a rather complicated issue but I think I need help, I am in a relationship with this girl who is really great, but...a couple of weeks ago she confessed to me that she kissed and did some pretty nasty things with another girl. The girl she did this with was a bisexual girl with whom she hung out with that night (for the record this was the girl who we got the apartment we live in from). I and my girlfriend had a fight and I threatened to break up with her. The girl she hung out with consoled her then tried to hit on her, one thing led to another and the next thing I know my girlfriend was kissing and fingering the girl ( I know its crazy). The next night the girl offered to come and visit her but my girlfriend was afraid of what could happen and called this male friend to come stay in OUR HOUSE. (I was not there at the time) and then the bisexual girl and the guy friend my girlfriend called, ended up having sex while she was there according to her she did not do anything and every information I have been able to gather backs up her story, she told me about the lesbian escapade a day before it happened and then the next day she told me about the guy friend, I although she has been working really hard to prove to me that what she did was just a mistake I often have doubts that she told me the whole truth, and even though she swore that she is in no way attracted to women I still have my doubts about that every now and then...i know this is a crazy story and you are probably confused but i just feel really stressed about it. i Love her and i forgave her even because she was young and naive (she was 18 and she was very sheltered as a child) but every now and then I think about it and I just get angry, we are both trying to make things work and sometimes they seem to be, but every now and again I get really angry and confused about the whole thing. I don't want to but it keeps on happening. What should I do? I think I need some help

The other day, my friends and I went to a Ladies Night Club. One of the girls wanted to impress the rest of us, so she pulled out a $10 bill. When the male dancer came over to us, my friend licked the $10 bill and stuck it to his butt cheek!
Not to be outdone, another friend pulls out a $20 bill. She calls the guy back over, licks the $20 bill, and sticks it to his other butt cheek. In another attempt to impress the rest of us, my third friend pulls out a $50 bill and calls the guy over, and licks the bill. I'm worried about the way things are going, but fortunately she just stuck it to one of his butt cheeks, again. My relief was short lived. Seeing the way things are going, the guy gyrates over to me! My boyfriends driving me crazy. He is so easy going its sickening. Its always "whatever you want to do", or "we can do whatever you want" as he jumps up to take my plate to the sink for me. If I got to do something its always "I can do that for you". He acts like a beaten puppy so to speak or whipped as some might say. I hate it! I want his input, his opinion and I want him disagree with me sometimes. His agreeing with everything I say irritates me so bad. What can I do? This is really annoying me. Oh yeah and maybe I should say that we live together.

We have been together for 4 years. when we first got together we were gonna to get married. we got pregnant, then lost the baby. now he says that back then he thought he was ready for both, but now, he is not/ nor may ever be ready for either. that hurts my feelings, i feel as though it is me, but he said he still loves me, and we have lived together for the 4 years, is he just sick of me, or could he really just not be prepared? i mesn his parents got divorced, and he says that another reason that he won't marry me is because 20 years down the road he may just get fed up and leave. i just don't know what to do. these are my dreams, and he said that i should maybe just leave and find someone new, because he doesn't think that i should sacrifice my dreams, but he isn't sure if he can ever give me what i want. what do you think i can do to change his mind?

I met John Doe a year ago and he has known my flatmate for quite some time. However I really began to know him just a few days ago. As a group of his and my friends, we all went out partying friday and saturday. Everything was fine....just friends. He drove me on saturday and we went to his place after. Since we were both tired we went to sleep in different rooms. Later, he joined me, kissed me, and that's it. Nothing else happened except that I brought up the statement "I thought we were just friends." The next day he dropped me off at my place and mentioned he would call to see the plans for friday. He never did.

Should I call him for tea and see if he would still like to be friends?
