My mother was recently approved for disability. If they go back three years and my mom was making $400 a week, how much does she get back? I know that the lawyer will take 25%, (is that a lot for a lawyer?) And how long will it take to process the transactions if she was approved on Sept. 20? When will we be expecting a check?

I work Fri. Sat. and Sun. nights. I homeschool the whole week and tend to household chores. I ask my husband to alternate nights with me to give the kids a bath and brush there teeth. He works 40 sometimes (but rarely) 45 hrs a week. I was so tired Mon. and Tues. that I didn't cook dinner. I mean I already cook 2 times a day and sometimes I don't feel like cooking a 3rd time. He raises hell and says I'm putting everything off onto him. He doesn't seem to think I do much during the day, however I work my butt off. I love my work, though it's sometimes exhausting. However I don't like my weekend job, actually I loathe it. But hubby sits with the kids (most of the time doing no housework) and I go out and work. He relaxes on his weekends only tending to the kids which isn't much besides feeding and putting them to bed. I however work on the weekends and have no relaxing day. I feel he is being unfair in fussing at me for having to help out every other night in bathing etc. the kids. what?

My friend's ex-husband went off on drugs, went to rehab and when he left rehab, he didn't come home to her, he filed for divorce instead. She put up with a hell of a lot of crap from him and still forgave him and stood by him throughout his drug ordeal. She can't understand why he wouldn't have discussed what he was thinking and feeling with her first. What would make him leave this good woman, I can't understand it and neither can she.

but we have been hanging out alot and doing other things-ya know. Well one day i was on the phone with him, i dont even remember talking about what, but he made this rediculous comment.."I should have gotten you pregnant". I was shocked! I was like thats not even okay to joke about! I think he was kidding in a way but you know he has thought about it. Because he knows if i would have gotten pregnant with him i would have tried to work it out and we would probably still be together. Do you think i should take this seriously and stop having sex with him? Im kind of scared now that he might try to. Or am i overracting and it was just a stupid joke and hes just one of the many stupid guys who say things they dont mean to all the time?

This is a bit of an announcement as well as a question....A lot of you already know that I foster children, and I have just received into my care permenantly a 12 yr old girl, I have been involved in her life for approx 3 mths prior to moving in with me, pending adoption. I started college a month and a half ago and on the second day i feel like i fell in love with a girl named Pamela. I've finally had enough courage 2 go and sit close 2 her although not next 2 her. I talk 2 her sumtimes and i say hi also but she seems 2 have a closer relationship with another guy who happens 2 sit next 2 her and when i asked him about it the other day(at the same time told him i liked her) he said that there just friends and he would keep it in mind. That same day we had a test and while "keeping it in mind" he made me sit next 2 her but it seemed awkward. how do i just surpass that stage and be close enough 2 her so that it wont seem that awkward 4 the both of us?
