I always feel like i give so much to others and don't get the same in return.It seems like my friendships only last about a year and they end because of a silly arguement or something that makes me realize they weren't real to begin with.It really hurts me cause i'll think we're really close and then end up hurt when i find out the frienship is over over some stupid thing.My recent friend and i were friends for a little over year and now we haven't spoken for almost three weeks cause we got in to a arguement about how she is inconsiderate to my feelings.She doesn't get it cause it's not happening to her but it shouln't be like that , she should be able to see things from my point of view even if it doesn't affect her. I really need a close friend but i don't know what i'm doing wrong or what's wrong with me.Please help me out, all answers will be appreciated.

she broke up with me 6 months ago and she started dating this guy right after . . im talking like a week after . . but anyways i tried to get her back the first 2 months then i went NC since the middle of june. . .she has called or texted or left me a voicemail like 10-15 times since then and i havent answered or contacted her back. . .she just recently got into an official relationship with this guys and i noticed she tried to get ahold of me the day they started going out . . . she calls about once every 1,2,3 weeks and she called me drunk last weekend 3 times , 2 texts and 1 voicemail in 1 night and she said she doesnt understand why we cant be friends. . .even though ive told her atleast 20 times that i cant. . . after we broke up she insisted we were going to get back together sometime . . . and she also is the type of person that cant stand to be alone and always has to have somebody. . . if she is completely happy and everything then why does she try to call me

Recently my grand son was misbehaving and my punishments,such as grounding, weren't helping the bad behavior, so my daughter suggested to let her husband, his stepdad, to set the punishment. Well, he set a pretty good one, he made him clean, have no friends over, and believe me, this child had to clean, something he's not too use to. I thought it was great, except i learned that since my son-in-law has had no real parenting experience, he did it in such a mean spirit. Yelled at my grandson the second he got home from school, critisized his work, and stayed mad at the child all day. This just broke my heart because disipline has to be done with love and in the right spirit. Do you think it's wrong for a step parent to disipline?

My bf is too scared to give us another chance again. Which has lead me to be heart broken and totally psychotic. So the thing is he tells me he loves me and wants to marry me and I can only assume that means he needs time because he wont tell me how he feels. I love him so... what do I do? I can't forget this man because I feel he is the one. I cant ride by his house every night because he lives far away. Its so hard to just let go. Mines was when this guy about 5 years ago we met for a date at bennigans. When we got there he only order baked apples which puzzled me and i order a chicken salad. He had a funny look on his face. When the bill came to be like 20.00 dollars he said he only had big bills and couldnt pay so i ended up paying for our lunch. Then he had the nerve to ask me to buy his cigarettes. All and all that was first and last date ever.

so I met a guy on-line and we met at a bar. He said he was interested and gave me a long kiss before he left. He then called me on his way home to say he enjoyed talking to me and we made plans for lunch. I really liked him he is exactly what I am looking for and more. I texted him and left him a message and he has not returned my call. Why do guys do this? I haven't dated for over 5 years but I don't think this is normal. Was there something in his saying "I'm interested in you" that translates into I will never talk to you again?

Last night I went out with my friend, and she took her friends with her, I had never met them. Anyway turns out one of them likes me and spent the whole night trying to flirt with me (I say 'trying' because i kept cutting him off and playing hard to get) so anyway he asked for my number and I HAD to give it to him because everyone else had it and he said he'd call me to go out today.
I don't like him at all, what do I do? I don't want to go out with him, and I don't want to give him false hope.

I love my bf w/ all my heart and we have a long distance relationship, I travel a lot to see him or vice versa but i usually pay most of the stuff, he never buys me anything,for my birthday he only gave me like a 10 dollars necklace, and he does have money cuz he's talking about buying the 80g ipod which is like 400 dollars. Im going in november to see him and currently im not working b/c im doin nonpaid internship and sometimes when i have time i work for promotions in events par time in the weeknd but he is working fulltime and he wants to pay half and half everything, for me is no problem, i can charge it in my credit card and pay it little by little but I feel like she should be more understanding and pay the airline ticket and then i can pay food and stuff over there. I've had boyfriends that pay almost everything, im not a gold digger cuz i usually offer to pay my half but still, Im the woman, I want to be paid sometimes and feel like a queen. He never does anything nice for me

My husband works with this guy who is cheating on his fiancé. I don't know his fiancé well, but she is an acquaintance of mine. Since all the guys work together, we are all in the same circle of friends. They are supposed to be getting married in December. I always mind my own business when it comes to things like this, but do you think I should tell her. I would want someone to tell me if the shoes was on the other foot. If I tell her, I will do it anonymously because I don't want to cause problems between my hubby and the guy. we have joint custody, our oldest son lives with me age 10 and our youngest 2 boys live with their mom. no matter what i do she is always calling and harassing me about what i do with the boys when i have them. she doesnt like it because i live with my parents and i have my mom pick up the boys from her or the babysitter so i do not have to have contact with her. she says i am not a fit parent and she is always threatening me to take the oldest boy away from me. she tells me i am not a good parent but she agreed to the joint custody. she is always calling on the nights i have visitation with the boys and wanting me to keep them all night which i do not have a problem with so in reality i have the kids more than she does but i am tired of her telling me what i should do with the boys and where i can take them or who i have pick them up. does she have the right to dictate to me whether or not i have my mom pick up my kids? she is harassing me all the time.

i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever we were in history class last year, he kept on asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he braged that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, and started asking me if i knew how the final would be graded. i mean hello! do i look like the teacher? I never gave my name to him and his friends don't know me. he was in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
so this year we have a class together, i find him staring at me all the time. and today he finally talked to me to see if i understood a concept. all i said was "no". i felt so bad afterwards!! we sit half way across the room from each other, but he stares at my face for about 95% of class time. and i just don't get what he wants. can't he talk??
