so I met a guy on-line and we met at a bar. He said he was interested and gave me a long kiss before he left. He then called me on his way home to say he enjoyed talking to me and we made plans for lunch. I really liked him he is exactly what I am looking for and more. I texted him and left him a message and he has not returned my call. Why do guys do this? I haven't dated for over 5 years but I don't think this is normal. Was there something in his saying "I'm interested in you" that translates into I will never talk to you again?

On his way home was right after we met, he did not spend the night.

I was suppose to call him to let him know where we were having lunch. So I was not being too eager by calling him. He told me to.

Sweetie oh sweetie dont break the rules.

Hopefully by on the way home you didn't mean @ 7am from your house after breakfast.. .. anyway.

Let him call you.
Do not call him.

You will seem to eager if you do and possibly come off as "clingy". Unless you both specify "who" will do the calling ahead of time due to some kind of scheduling conflicts.

As a guy I wouldn't kiss a girl I was not truly interested in AND I have never called a girl on the way home so he must be sweet on you.

you should have not contacted him after you made plans to meet for lunch. guys get scared off easily if you seem too needy. i am dating a guy and i let him make the plans as to the next we meet and even the next time we talk on the phone. i haven't been on the dating scene for almost four years. i know to let the guy have his space. we have been dating for 3 months now, and just recently i have been saying when i would like to meet up. don't act so eager, even though you want too!

When you met him, did you start off the first line you started with here? If so he may have a very wrong impression of you.
