You should be asking him that question. He obviously loves you. 6th year is hard. Try 14. You both have to try to keep the marrage going. At 6 years you both have settled into a relationship that goes pretty much the same everyday and starts getting a bit boring. Try mixing it up with something just enough to spice things up. It doesn't have to be fancy, remind him why he fell in love with you in the first place. -With men you have to keep reminding them from time to time that they still got it enough to make you scream. Just make sure your not asking him all the time IF he loves you. It shows your insecure and after 6 years, you already know he does.

If his answer is I dont know if Im in love with you after 6 years, he does not love you. In his mind, he only thinks of you as a friend and nothing more. I would leave this marriage. You cannot learn to love someone after 6 years of marriage. Leave now.

Dont want to be the bearer of bad news, but there is someone else in his life already. My ex best friend used to tell his wife that all the time and now the divorce is final. He had another woman in his life already. The saying " I love you but I'm not in love with you" tells you that it is all over . Oh by the way, that other woman dumped him already for another married man, when he tried to return to his wife, that was all over too! Now she is the happy wife of another man for 10 years now.

in I way I have the same problem , I love her an would never want for anything bad to happen to her , but I can't say that I'm in love with the women she is now , been together for almost 30 yrs and we have both changed in to different people who wiew the world very differently

basically he is saying is he isnt in love with you anymore and he is staying out of habitl more than staying for loving you and when he sets his sights on someone else or someone else sets theres on him then he will be gone so your on borrowed time i suggest you just tell him to leave then,he isnt going to fall back in love they never do so dont even waste your time on staying hoping that you just making it take longer when you can be out finding someone who is in love with you...Good luck and god bless
