Let me say that he did not forget. We went out to dinner for my bday and his card was rejected. I paid. My birthday and our anniversary were the next day. I did not expect anything( a gift that is). I did expect for him to say "happy bday" or happy anniversary. I was so disappointed that he said nothing. How can I get past the disappointment.

I have a 14 yr old son. Father lives in a different state from us, we moved 4 years ago. i have complete physical and legal custody. I have NEVER requested a modification to support. I am now seriously considering a modification to the support (145.00) is all I get now. I am also wanting him to pay his half of our sons medical and dental bills, copays, medications, etc. that our divorce decree states. I didn't take him back to court all these many years due to the fact that my son is not comfortable with his father. Will the court make my son see his father if we go back and change the order. In our divorce decree, it states that he sees our son only on sundays for a certain number of hours. We live 3 hours away and that certainly wont work now. What do you think. This man has the ability to pay, has a new baby and paying more support for a child he fathered after our divorce. So he has 3 kids including mine. I worry for my son. Will the court make him visit his Dad?

Lets say a new manager has just started at your place of work. At first he's an ***. He goes out of y\his way to be rude and make you very mad. Then you learn that he has just gotton out of a relationship and it explains why he is acting the way he has. Now he starts showing intrest in you and for some strange reason your attracted to him. He not you typical type you usually go for and he even starts a rumor at work that you have said that he is sexy which you think so but never said out loud. He has met you mother and has even got her to start thinking he's a good guy. You know you have a boyfriend and would never cheat but your boyfriend won't make that marriage offer you've been waiting for. And the manager will be quiting soon to go to las vegas for a job. Do you tell the manager how you feel before he goes. Do you brake up with the boyfreiend?

Best friend of 13 years is getting married this weekend. ok, my bff just lost her virginity, leaving me the only virgin in our group of friends. before she did it, me & her stuck together and were really close. but ever since it happened, shes been bringing it up nonstop, waving it (unintentionally) in my face. i hate when she talks about it.. ive come to resent her for it and i feel almost jealousy (even tho its not smthgn to be jealous of) and inferiority.. i know i can lose it whenever but i dont want to do it just to be even with her. its almost as if, now that she has had sex, she is looking down on me for not doing it.

i dont know if im making sense but i dont know what to do.. theres no way im going to confront her about it so dont say that.. and yes, i am of age and out of high school, so dont treat me like a 16 yr old.

and if you are going to say, be proud of your virginity and all that shht ..dont.

go out with me to a movie, or baseball game or just to hang out at his house, we have fun together and Im over his house about 3-4 times a week, but when I ask him to go out clubbing or go out with me and my friends he declines, and just this passed weekend, his buddies GF invited me to go out clubbing with them for her bday....she told him (in front of me) that she invited me. So when Saturday came around I called him and asked what he would be doing he said he didn't know and he'd call me later....but he never called me until Sunday........am I trippin or what?

Is it possible to buy a bridesmaid's dress from a bridal store and ask them to stitch cap sleeves on the dress for you? I know a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding would prefer cap sleeves, and I have tried searching the internet, but every sleeve out there is just too long or the dress is ugly. Has anybody done this before? Did it turn out good? What would you suggest?

my boyfriend cheated on me (1 night stand) very early into our relationship. he confessed and we dont talk much, our conversations are very short and i we only talk every other day or every 2 days. i saw him last week and he called me the next night a couple of times but after that he stopped calling. when i spoke to him yesterday, he was cold. hes been really cold lately and i dont even know if we are still dating, he never officially said anything that made it clear that we are not dating anymore. i dont know how to confront him about it either, he tends to be moody, and id ont want to say something wrong and have him blow up in my face and end it on the spot. i need advice. how do i talk to him about this? what do i even say? how do i begin to even have a conversation about whether or not we are still dating or what is going on between us?

As i read your answers i sat here with a kitchen roll wipeing the tears. I left my marriage because of his frequent drinking and verble abuse when drunk. Family is non existent but i do have friends, and yes i may now seek some counselling. I just wanted to say thanks and that your answers have helped clear the cobwebs. today i rode my bike to the 7th grade football practice and i got there just in time for the guys to get a drink, so there were these to guys about 30 feet away and his friend yell"mija Jarrett wants to go out with you" and he had no expression onm his face after he asked, then after a few seconds i ask if he is for rizzow and he says like a nervouse wreck, NO NO IT WAS A JOKE...I SWEAR was it really a joke or does he really want to go out wiht me?
