Nah. Don't bother with the manager. It's a dead end street there, anyway.
But as for the Boyfriend, if you been together for over a year and still no marriage propsal that you were hoping for - it's time to have the talk. If he isn't interested in a committment, then you need to find someone who can give you what you want.

Well it depends. Do you love your current boyfriend enough to wait til he's ready? If not, yes break up and start seeing other people, the manager or whoever. If the manager is leaving for Las Vegas how will you two be able to maintain a relationship? There is a lot of things to consider.

No, I wouldn't let him know. I would let him go. He started a rumor. He is leaving soon for a different job somewhere else. Sounds like you could do better or keep your boyfriend. If you so easily think about leaving your boyfriend maybe you should break it off with him too. If your feelings for him are so easily gone.

It's not advice, but I (me, personally) would probably go out to celebrate his last night, get outrageously drunk, confess all, sleep with him and then not tell the boyfriend and never see the manager again. Not on purpose of course but similar things have happened!

Don't tell him how you feel and don't break up with your boyfriend, just because you think somebody's cute doesn't mean you should break up with your boyfriend. If you tell him how you feel he might spread another rumor so it's best you just leave it alone in your mind.
