ok, my bff just lost her virginity, leaving me the only virgin in our group of friends. before she did it, me & her stuck together and were really close. but ever since it happened, shes been bringing it up nonstop, waving it (unintentionally) in my face. i hate when she talks about it.. ive come to resent her for it and i feel almost jealousy (even tho its not smthgn to be jealous of) and inferiority.. i know i can lose it whenever but i dont want to do it just to be even with her. its almost as if, now that she has had sex, she is looking down on me for not doing it.

i dont know if im making sense but i dont know what to do.. theres no way im going to confront her about it so dont say that.. and yes, i am of age and out of high school, so dont treat me like a 16 yr old.

and if you are going to say, be proud of your virginity and all that shht ..dont.

thanks.

Ok, I won't say to be proud, but I can sure tell you that you most likely will regret it later, because you didn't do it out of love... so in this case, be proud! Don't be jealous... just be glad it wasn't you that did it out of pitty to be like the "group" Do it when you're in love, it feels better... A LOT better! Men will respect you more than they would respect her, or she respects herself... and now she's probably hating, it shouldn't be you hating, cuz you're still the lucky one!

Time will come for that!

If she's looking down on you just because she lost her virginity first that's not a true friend. Have you ever considered telling her how you feel or just plain telling her off. But really, I know you said don't say this but you really ought to to be proud of your virginty and if you think its **** then what does that say about you? That you just want to lose yours so you can get even with that. You should respect your body to know that when you get married that will be the right time. SO who gives care about your friend.

You have plenty of time to make the decision to give it up. I would not rush into doing something rash like having sex to compete with your friend. I would just let her know that you dont like hearing about her sex life all the time. Believe me the first time is never that great, she is probably making up alot of it. So be patient and this whole thing will pass. Besides when you finally do it the best thing to do is keep it to yourself anyways.

No honey, i know this is a tuff time, but TRUST ME! if you can wait till you are married or atleast in college with a serious boyfriend, you will be the winner!, you might have a boyfriend in high school that you will swer that he is the man of your like, but the truth is that it never works out that way, just wait till your out of high school and you will be very happy!

Why should you be jealous of your friend it sounds like to me she is jealous of you because you are sticking to your guns and not giving up your virginity it's a good thing to wait until your married

there is nothing wrong with keeping your virginity. did she really loose it or is she just bragging. no one but her and the guy knows for sure. Guys will have more respect for you if you aren't sleeping around. keep it for as long as you can. good luck.
