I just got out of an 8 year relationship and need to meet someone. I sat at home with the kids the whole time and dont have any friends. I want to get back out into the world and meet a woman, But i dont want to take a chance with getting my heart broken again. Where can i meet a decent woman. I dont want a woman who hangs out at bars, and im not religious enough to try and find one at church.

I dont like the way my gf is treated by her parents, they never take care of her and treat her badly (they dont abuse her tho). Every since my gf was 16 and she got a job her parents made her pay for everythin of her own (even tho she was goin to school and workin), not only this, her mom made her pay for giving her a ride to work (she said it was for "gass money"). also shes on a phone plan with her mom and her mom is making her pay 80 dollars while she only pays 20... i am gettin sick and tired of this, and i just am startin to hate them.... this is especially disturbing since ive been going out with her for almost 3 years and we are serious about our relation ship. my question is ....


WHAT SHOULD I DO???

(sorry for writting so long, and please only serious responces, i WILL flag anything that is just plain being an a$$hole)

this guy that dumped me, said he wants to be friends still. long distance thing so havent seen each other even by chance yet. at first he wrote back a few emails pretty quickly within few days. used to write to each other daily when we were together. you know last email took him 2 months to write back with no good reason--he checks his email every freakin' day!!!!. was begining to think he would never write back. what should i do?? what does this mean? is he trying to send me a message that he thinks i suck? doesnt he know it is even more hurtful, is he trying to hurt me on purpose? i cant even ask him these questions anymore since i havent even called him since he dumped me, and im scared to ask him for fear he wont write any more. why do guys play these kind of games??how can someone just cut you out of their life and not expect you to care how they are doing? i just wrote small little email , and never asked to get back together or anything.i dont know why he wrote back 2 mos later

Thank you for your recent advice EVERBODY!My husband & I made an agreemeent last night that we would lay everything on the table about my stepson living in our house with no chores no paing rent and he has a full time job.(It was football "monday night")LOL I luv it to~All 3 of us were 2 sit down discuss $50.00 a week & chores.My husband told me in the shower that nothings going to change & no discussion about anything.I told my hsband i what is your son excusive to the world?HE said it benifits us & him.WRONG IT does't benifit us money wise are bills are higher .His son learns no responsibilityWhat is he exclusive to the world? please tell me if i'm wrong?I'm going to leave !

I wouldn't bother asking a bunch of strangers if I wasn't in deep **** or really desperate I'm 15 and iv had this friend (16) since i moved to this little crap town when i was 8 i would tell you the name of it but you'd probably say where? in small towns were all really tight and we were like the brother and sister type until i lost my virginity with him now where not like the brother sister relationship anymore so im not going to listen to anyone who tells me to give up on him it started when his mom died of cancer when he was 9 and his dad got into alcohol which didn't help anything when i was about 10 anyone with common sense could tell something was a little ****** up in that house but cause i was ten i was scared and i didn't want to know because it was so much easier to pretend that everything was fine with him than the marks got deeper and wider and i still avoided it he knew i knew about it but he didn't want me to say anything last night was when i couldn't avoid anything anymore we had a party at his house and things got broke like at all parties but i know that he really got it cause the alcohol was gone i knew he was going to get into trouble but i didn't know he was going to be in the emergency room his dad said he fell down the stairs you can tell his dad said that only a drunk man would say that when corey had marks from a metal pole and a belt falling down the stairs doesn't do that to you but the hospital looked past it because his dad was the one that called the ambulance when we got older he would stay at everyone else's house so he wouldn't get hit but he was drunk when his dad hit him and he couldn't really go anywhere far i figured everything was okay because he wasn't ever home and he would always fight back so 6 years later i finally ask him about it but i didn't really want to hear his sober answer he was always somehow more honest when he was drunk i told him that he has to go live somewhere else that didn't make him to happy because he had big plans and that would **** it up for him so started he screaming and yelling nothing new the worst thing i couldve said to him was corey your just like your ******* dad and he hit me that was the only time i swear but he is becoming his dad drunk and abusive he's so much more than his dad he's got goals and he's really funny and athletic and he's finally breaking down there's only so much one person can deal with i told him it was okay when he hit me but he was the one that freaked got in his car and drove somewhere a couple hours from where we live and when they found him he was passed out drunk laughing saying how he was never going to drink again which he said after every party of course i have a lot of questions but now that he's at home again with his dad in the house waiting for him to be conscious i gota no what the hell do i do now ?il do anything but bail on him

Okay, who out there has been thru it? I'm trying to do all I can to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams...lucky for me, she's a very reasonable woman, and understands that our budget has limitations.

my best friend started treating me like crap 2 months ago when i told him i was going into the army. you got to understand that i am the only person who was ever there for him and now i am leaving. then we started saying that we couldnt imagine our lives without the other person in it. so we got engaged. that lasted about 3 days. then we broke up cause he didnt think it was such a good idea, and i agreed. about a month later, i get a phone call from a friend of his saying that he wanted to get back together with me, (this will the third time we got back together) so i said ok, cause i missed him. and yet again that lasted about 3 hours (do you see a pattern? why is it all three's?) he wanted me to be honest with him and not keep anything from him, so i told him the truth about somethings. and he flipped out. he appologized for it a week ago. i told him i was dating someone else and now he needs "space" he says. he has not talked to me since, its been about almost a week.

I am asking this for a friend of mine that lives in KS. (She doesnt have a computer, He got it in the divorce)
