my best friend and i keep fighting becuase she is not happy with the school shes at and she misses her friend and i totally understand that butim trying to be a good friend and support her and try and make her happy but i dont know how because she is hurting my feeling but she doesnt know she is. i told her but she says shes not trying to but its just because i feel like im doing every thing i can to try and make her happy but she is still not happy so i dont know what to do ? she means the world to me though and i dont want to lose her

I have been in love with a guy for 2 years. He is a smart, sexy, talented musician who loves God. He's used to girls chasing him and he has had his heart broken by a few. His love interests have all been very capable, talented and beautiful. I am a recovering alcoholic who suffers from depression. He doesn't know. But to him I am average. He hasn't told me I'm not good enough but I think that is what he might feel. I don't want to lose him by not trying, but I'm not sure I'm ready to let him know how I feel. How do I ask him to love someone who feels so inadequate, yet alone ask him to wait for me to find worth in myself? He brings out the best in me and we get along so well. But my best is still nothing compared with his family, himself and his prior loves.

there is this guy in my phsics class that i think likes me but i am not sure. he is always looking at me while he is talking to his friend (i sit in the middle between him and his freind), he is always asking to borrow my book and he may have asked another freind of his to c if i liked him. and on friday him and his friend kept talking about how queit i was and how they'd never seen me smile and how fast i can text and they started saying that i hated them (which isnt true they are just always fighting with me right in the middle which is aggrevating to me) i am so lost does he like me?

I am the widowed mom of a wonderful little boy....
I have dealt with serious hardships, and I thought I knew exactly where i stood...
Tonight, while out with friends, my son's Dad's(my husband died five years ago)cousin approached me to let me know how serious he felt about me....
i guess maybe I've known he has felt for me befoe now, but I just denied it.
He claims to have loved me for years, and finally wanted to have it out in the open....he flat out said, "look, this may be hard to hear, but I love you....it isn't going to change"
I care for him alot too. He was always our best friend, and I care for him even more deeply because of the loss we have both shared...but I am so shaken up.
I do love him, but not in the way he wants... I guess I could see how he thinks we could be compatable, but there would be serious family issues with this, even though we aren't related...
this family has had enough hurt...
what can I say that won't hurt him? He's like a best friend?

Now I don't think I'm in love nor am I wondering how old I'll be when I will. What I'm wondering is when I will know. What feelings will I get? What will I do differently from my other girlfriend? The main problem is that she is an American living in the US & i am Indian living in India, she is very apprehensive about moving here because of the change in the culture and stuff, and the biggest things is that she will be so far away from her family. She cannot come to India now, but we do plan to visit eachother atleast once before we get married. But how do I calm her down now cuz she gets really overwhelmed at times. I understand her concerns but i really need a female point of view about how to handle this and to tell her that it will be ok. And not just tell her but also make things better for her, to make the transition as smooth as possible. I plan to tell her more and more about India, the people, culture etc. She is always welcome to chat with my friends here or call up my family and stuff. But i think we need more. How can I help her?

I had been flirting with a guy for a while. We ask each other questions about our lives, family, life, likes, dislikes. One day he told me that I was very pretty and I could have any guy I wanted. I told him that I just got out of a relationship and she wasn't looking for a man because I wanted to some time before getting involved. Afterward I realized he might have taken it personaly so I called him to tell him that I was very attracted to him. The next day I wrote an email and wished him well on his interview. I also wished him good luck and told him to take care. I really liked him and was telling him the truth. Since then he hasn't called.

Was he was mad or hurt because I made the mistake of leading him on only to tell him I needed sometime to get over my previous relationship? Or did I scare him off by calling him later to admit that he was I was very handsome and I was attracted to him so he would know I was not rejecting him.?
