On a horse-drawn carriage ride around the holidays, close to Christmas, when the weather is getting cool and you need a blanket to keep warm. Bring a bottle of champagne and strawberries if you can find them. Congrats~

If you can afford it, take her to Paris, the most romantic city! Treat her to a wonderful meal, then propose on one knee in front of the whole restaurant.
If you cant afford that go to a local restaurant, but tell the staff what you plan to do and get them to dim the lights, or play a romantic song. Make it personal and make her feel special!
Or on a beach at night, I've always liked the thought of that!

There is a restaurant at the top of the second highest building in Bangkok called Sirocco. It is one of the most amazing places I have ever been, totally breath taking. It doesn't matter where you do it as long as it is obvious you have planned it well and it is all for her.
A girl likes nothing more than being made to feel special.
My fiancee took me on a holiday to Venice and Rome and on the final night we drank Champagne and ran to the top of the Spanish Steps, in the rain, and he got down on one knee (in a puddle!) and proposed - soooo romantic!

Anywhere is good it depends on what you say. Or maybe try Victoria station at peak hour go down on your knees and beg her to marry you. You can even try during the 8pm BBC news slot via the tele that you you will not have to explain or tell your friends whats happening cos the whole world will be knowing.

Make it personal...something you'll both remember forever. Try to tie in how or where you first met or your first date. Or tie in something you both love to do. If you know she's going to say "yes", tie it into a social event where lots of your friends or family are in attendance. Everyone will ask you both, "How did he propose?" Put some thought into it and make it the most memorable day of your lives.

Make a scrap book. Use real photos of the both of you and your families as well as clippings of things such as a little home, children, a christmas tree. things that mean a lot to her . Attach the ring to the last page. Take her to a quiet place and give it to her. Help her see your future.

Well me and my boyfriend are going to the Seychelles next year so hes probably going to do it there and he is the romantic type so it'l prob ably go something like this if i know my boyf . . . . a really nice meal in fancy restaurant. A walk down to the beach with a good bottle of wine and hel probably go down on one knee there.

Hey there from Bristol in the S.W
My fiance proposed to me on Christmas Night.
He froze my ring in an ice cube and put it in my drink.
HOW ROMANTIC IS THAT?????
Anyway 10 years later, we're still very happy and my ring is absolutely beautifull.

i think take your girl friend on a nice holiday i would choose Cyprus phphos and on the 3rd night there go to a restaurant called fat mamas its really nice tell the staff your going to purpose to your girlfriend as they make the night special for free etc sparklers lights music free drink and propose to her in front of every body make her fill special she will love you big time for it i know as my lover done it to me i had a great night
