A girl and me at work are pretty good friends, but unfortunatley co-workers are spreading rumors about us to the point where shes been distancing herself from me! I dont see where these rumors came from, but shes like one of three friends that I have and this sucks. I hate my job for doing this to my life! How can I fix this?

I know what u are goin through. People are gonna say and think things no matter what you do. Tell this girl she needs to quit stressin ova what people are sayin. You guys know whats real and whats not that should be all that matters. Around here that seems to be all people know how to do. You can't let anyone know your personal business unless you want a nice lil rumor to be started and snowballed about stuff thats not even true. I hate to say it but it can be a part of life. If this is getting to her that bad talk to her about it and address the people who are spreading the rumors. Tell them to get a life and stay out of yours. If she is really your friend she will stand up to these coworkers starting rumors. She shouldn't punish you for what other people are saying.

Tell her your motivations and intentions. Who gives a ratsass what other people think? Then start an embarrassing funny rumor about yourself like writing; "(your name here) whacks it to Pokemon" on the bathroom stall. Soon the other rumor will be forgotten.
